Regret cause Auxerre wanted to tie Yaya down for two more years to fend off our interest : IBA I guess.

As for the merriment, I see no reason to celebrate an unconfirmed youth/reserve signing. Hes upgrading Park Ju Young ffs.

I'm inclined to be less than 100% believing of anything about Jovetic until it's done, dusted, put on some club's dot com.

Probably as reliable as all the other reports saying he's close to joining us.

Reports like that are exactly why everything needs to be taken with a pinch of salt right now. Just this afternoon, a whole flurry of reports come out saying that Arsenal have bid for Jovetic, that Jovetic's agent is negotiating with Arsenal, etc. Then, on the same day, another report comes out saying that he's chosen Juventus. In between, Fiorentina's director says there hasn't been contact with either club.

And that was all just today, a whole ten days before the window actually opens.
