Galatasaray have eight days left to take up their option of signing Felipe Melo on a permanent basis from Juventus.

The Brazilian international joined the Turkish club on loan in 2011 and then again a year later for another 12 months.

As part of the latter agreement, Gala have until April 30 to sign the midfielder outright for a pre-agreed €6.5m.

The 29-year-old was netted by the Turin giants in July 2009 from Fiorentina for a fee in the region of €25m.
