We all should look at this as an intriguing experiment on whether managerial stability is the way to go even when the manager isn't very good Cool

I think Moal explained that Pardew's contract had many different clauses that needed to be exercised for the 8 years to kick in. So Ashley basically could fire him whenever he wants or something like that. Don't take my word for it though. I'm sure Moal would be happy to tell us about it again.

Good to see QPR go down. Arry bandwagon would have been unbearable had they stayed up. Between Wigan and Villa, I hope the latter stay up due to their history. It'd be sad to see such a big club go down. Wigan have been relegation scrappers for so long that its fair they don't manage the great escape this time around.

I hope Wigan get relegated. Martinez deserves a kick in the arse. Wanted to build a legacy at Wigan lol. Proud

Villa won't get relegated.. they are in a better run of form than Wigan. Also, given some more time, Lambert will show his class and turn them into a top half side again rather than fight relegation every other season.

Wigan, Stoke and Qpr would be a relegation wet dream. Sadly, it won't happen.

Hope Wigan can do it again. They deserve to be in the PL.

Indeed if Ashley wanted to sack him he only has to pay one year of the contract which is like 500k.

Its a glorified rolling contract.
