Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
FIFA agent Luigi Corona believes AC Milan will sell their Ghanaian midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng to avoid the situation of losing him for nothing.
The 25-year-old is sure leave the San Siro after complaining about his unstable role at the club this season which he believes has limited his performances for the club this term.
Boateng’s contract runs out in 2014, thereby leaving Milan with two options of either improving his existing deal to keep him or sell him, otherwise they risk losing him for free next year.
Corona believes Milan will let go of the former Tottenham man not for footballing reasons but for the financial gains.
“I think Milan will let go of the Ghanaian player to collect money to invest in the market,” Corona said
‘The basis for the transfer borders on the economic problem. There is a financial gap and that’s why Milan will sell him,”
“Boateng wanted an adjustment on his contract but Milan were reluctant. He will leave so both parties will benefit from each other.”

With Palermo practically relegated, director Giorgio Perinetti opened the door for talks with Napoli over Josip Ilicic.
The Slovenian support striker and creative midfielder has been linked with several clubs, including Roma, Milan, Fiorentina and Arsenal.
“Ilicic is a great player, but he can be inconsistent,” Perinetti told Radio Kiss Kiss this afternoon.
“Napoli? There is a good rapport between the clubs, but I can say for the moment there are no negotiations taking place for Ilicic.
“If they did decide to make an offer, it would be a pleasure for us to deal with them.”

AC Milan loanee, Bojan Krkic, is considering a move to Bundesliga club Hamburg.
It is Thorsten Fink and Frank Arnesen who have approached the player’s entourage over the Barcelona graduate, and the player himself would have corroborated his interest in the move.
Bojan has had a lot of issues settling in Serie A since his arrival to the Peninsula. He arrived at AS Roma at the demand of former coach, Luis Enrique, but failed to maintain a starting place.
Things did not improve under Zdenek Zeman who quickly deemed him surplus to requirements. It was Adriano Galliani who sealed his loan signature, but even at AC Milan, Bojan has found it difficult to convince his coach of his quality.
The Hamburger Morgen Post reports that Bojan has a €13 million Euros price tag on his head, a sum the Hamburg hierarchy would be wary of paying. However the funds for the move could be raised if Hamburg were to sell Son Heung-Min to Borussia Dortmund, who have expressed interest in the South Korean.

Thiago Silva could leave Paris Saint-Germain for Barcelona this summer, his agent Paulo Tonietto has hinted.
The defender, 28, has been nominated for Ligue 1 Player of the Year alongside two other Parisiens stars: Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Blaise Matuidi, following the club's Champions League quarter-finals exit to Barcelona and strong league showing where they are one win away from wrapping up their first title since 1994.
However, rumours have surfaced that the former AC Milan star could be on his way out of PSG and his representative has poured fuel on to the fire by claiming the door is open for an unlikely switch.
"A transfer for Thiago Silva seems to me difficult - in his words - and I think that in the end he will remain at PSG. He has a contract and, before discussing with Barcelona, he should talk with PSG," he told RAC1.
"Last year we discussed [a transfer] with Barcelona but in the end PSG acted very quickly by offering a lot of money, [resulting in] an agreement with Milan. This year, however, we have not closed the door to Barcelona, nor to other clubs."
The Brazil international has a contract at Parc des Princes until 2017, having joined from San Siro for €38 million last summer.

Not so much rumors as an expectation that Jozy Altidore (23) will leave AZ Alkmaar after the season - 32 goals in all competitions currently

Think he's already stated he wants to continue their because he and his family are comfortable where they are. Will take a fairly big club/offer to dislodge him at this point.

Brian Sciaretta has solid USMNT contacts, says there's "literally no chance" Altidore stays, and that Verbeek is holding him out of the Belgium/Germany friendlies so as to avoid injury while he's being shopped around.RedOranje wrote:Swanhends wrote:Not so much rumors as an expectation that Jozy Altidore (23) will leave AZ Alkmaar after the season - 32 goals in all competitions currently

KPB's transfer is an interesting one....he's comfortable in Italy, he gets playing time, so i dont see the problem. Dont even get me started on Melissa Satta
We even put him on the RW because he himself said he plays his best when pushed forward a bit ffs, and thats after he complained about being in midfield

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
Valencia have received multiple offers for French defender, Adil Rami over the past year and could be willing to sell the player for a reported €8-10 million this summer.
According to Spanish sports daily, Marca, Rami has been made disposable due to the performances of Jeremy Mathieu and Ricardo Costa, who have filled in admirably at the centre-back positions while Rami has been injured for seven of the past 10 matches.
Valencia turned down a €15 million offer from Zenit St. Petersburg last summer, but his release clause is set at €12.5 million and Los Che would reportedly be willing to sell the player for €8-10 million.
Although they would obviously like an amount closer to the €15 million offered last summer, due to the amount of teams from England and Italy expressing interest, they would see €8-10 million as an acceptable sale price.
Valencia are looking to quickly wrap up the contract renewals of both Costa and Mathieu before they sell Rami.
Valencia bought Rami for €6 million from Lille two seasons ago and considers €2-4 million in profit is a nice bit of business for the debt-ridden club.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
Barcelona are preparing for the present and future by signing two keepers this summer; Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Marc-Andre Ter Stegen and former Barcelona and current Liverpool keeper, Pepe Reina.
According to Cadena SER’s Catalunya-based La Graderia programme, Sique Rodriguez reports that Ter Stegen is seen as the top choice to take over for Victor Valdes, who looks likely to leave the club this summer.
However, the club feels that the 21-year-old is not experienced enough and not yet ready to handle the work loan required of a Barcelona keeper, who tend to play in three different competitions throughout the season, some for weeks on end.
Therefore, the club is looking to sign La Masia graduate and current Liverpool keeper, Pepe Reina in the interim, to provide a solid presence in goal, while also serving as a mentor to the young German.
Reina is the closest to Valdes’ playing style and would fit into the tiki-taka system with ease.
Yet, all of this is dependent on Valdes and if he will leave the club this summer or see out the remainder of his contract and leave in June 2014.

disappointing if true
I'd have liked him at Chelsea even if it strengthened them.
Porto > Monaco. From one insignificant league to an even less significant one

The Monaco owner has more money than Abramovich lol. He wants to spend it too. Bidding for Kompany, Belhanda (going to happen), Remy, Mandanda, Di Maria, etc. They're going full out.
The idea is to make Ligue 1 drop its demands of fiscalization because the club would benefit the league so much. Not dumb.

Yup plus living in the glamour of Monte Carlo won't be bad either. The South of France in general is pretty amazing to live in if you can afford it.
This is more about Falcao's life than his football if he goes to Monaco.

I really wish it wasn't the Eredivisie he hadn't beasted in ffs.....I really hope he does well at a bigger club, but I just keep thinking about Afonso Alves ....dude scored a similar amount of goals, but completely crashed and burned mid the hype he got from the Dutch League. I think Jozy is a better player though. I just hope he shows that where-ever he moves.
One thing's for sure though....USA fans and AZ fans like will never forget what he did this season. Very special stuff from him and he's remained humble throughout.
