Apparently its against the rules. If 2 players of the same team get injured /are down, the ref cant sent them off the pitch to restart the match.

Not a ref so I have no idea. But I know that if Ibra told me to tell players to stay off the field I would do it

According to Sports.es, its true and Barca probably included this incident in their complaint letter to FIFA.

Its a bit embarassing for the ref tbh, it shows he doesnt even understand the rules or maybe he got starstruck for a moment and followed Ibra's orders.

Stark is a terrible ref so him fcking up during a game should come as a surprise to no one.

Players who are injured are required to leave the field under either of two conditions: The referee has stopped play due solely to the occurrence of a serious injury or the referee signals approval for anyone (team official, medical personnel, etc.) to enter the field to attend to an injury (regardless of whether that person enters to assist or not and regardless of why play was stopped). Goalkeepers are exempt from this requirement, along with any field player who may also have been injured as a result of a collision with the goalkeeper, as well as teammates who collide.

Don't know what will happen to Stark, maybe nothing, unless it will be deciding factor of the tie.
