Re: Bale NOT out for the season
That's a nice V formation, but that gaping hole in the centre makes me a little uneasy

AVB talking
"He rolled on his ankle, at the moment there is a lot of pain, but hopefully not as bad as it could have been. Feeling in the tunnel here at White Hart Lane is that Gareth Bale's injury is very similar to an ankle injury he suffered before."

It turns out you can have a great front line with players who aren't good or are under performing.

Is actually a decent front line, believe it or not.

Who are they playing this weekend??
He'll probably miss that match, could lose some points there.

Re: Bale NOT out for the season
Did I miss something... Is Wenger managing Spurs now?... On second thought, that would explain a lot of transfers.Lex wrote:Wenger "I expect Bale to be out 3/4 days"
In any case, here's hoping Bale's fit for the weekend. If nothing else, it will make the Everton match more exciting. Otherwise, it could be a pretty cagey back and forth between two teams that really can't afford to lose.
Spurs without Bale lack that little spark that can turn the game in their favor. Dembele, Holtby Dempsey, and even Adebayor (when he's playing for a new contract) are very good players, but you'd be hard-pressed to call them "match-winners".
Everton without a firing Jelavic can be a little toothless. However, Mirallas Baines, and Fellaini are capable of causing big problems for Spurs.
SPurs may well need Bale to save them again this weekend.

Re: Bale NOT out for the season
Dtor, I think it's a reference to how Wilshere, et al. were only going to be injured for 'a few days' last year, so he's hoping that something similar will happen to Bale .

Re: Bale NOT out for the season
AVB said he'll be out for Everton and return leg of Basel, but should be back for Man City. He said the rest depends on how the scans go on Friday but that they are optimistic.
I don't know how much his word counts for though, remembering what he said about Sandro

arsneal doesn't deserve to be in top 4, they provide nothing to the competition in champions league, losing out in round of 16 every time, at least Spurs made it to quarters last time around, beating the likes of Inter and AC in a spectacular fashion.
Lastly, Bale and co. deserve Champions League Football, Tottenham has been better than Arsenal this season, and that's a fact, The fair thing would be to see them at next season's UCL

Re: Bale NOT out for the season
what facts
arsenal have scored more and conceded less than tottenham, the only factual basis behind your claim is the number of points accrued to this point, but arsenal have played a game less . fair has no place in the ucl - excellence does and who ever makes it to the top 4 will have been the better team, it doesnt matter how fair it is that they are there or not
