Boring match. Neither side particularly brilliant.

Re: FA Cup 6th Round Replay - Chelsea vs Manchester United
If im FSW im telling Hazard to really take on the line, hes getting past the first man more often then not and then hes playing a low percentage pass to Oscar, Mata or Ba instead of taking on the second and third man. Rather those three should be going through the line and taking defenders with them to open up more space for Hazard to dribble into.

Chelsea defence playing really well, Hazard is doing very well the rest of the attackers meh altho Ba has done well when given service
Oscar is one weak player tho, he falls for every little contact

I didn't think he was going to score that.

Mata's obviously been watching Pirlo's beautiful chipped balls for Marchisio to volley in.
Lovely approach in that last exchange, good to see Chelsea pushing for the second here.

Saved from point blank range, Peter Cech take a bow. Can't believe it's not 1-1 right now.

Should have been 2-0 there, lovely first touch shown from Hazard to create the opportunity but very disappointing that he couldn't seize it.

United have been far too loose in possession going forward, they've attempted to rush things without cause and look to have no real purpose going forward. Very strangely subdued performance from United but I'm not complaining.

Re: FA Cup 6th Round Replay - Chelsea vs Manchester United
Ramires' shot probably just knocked someone out in the crowd. Too heavy a lay off from Hazard, took him too wide. United look short up front and at the back, there's a lack of energy all across the pitch from them at the moment.
Nice run and shot forward from Valencia as I write this, however they're simply giving Chelsea too much time to set their defence before a ball arrives. The defensive work from Chelsea's wingers has been excellent thus far.

Yes but considering how we played two days ago, it's obvious we are focusing on FAC and EL when I would rather we focus of 4th spot. If we lose, we are forced to focus on BPL, if we win, it could mean we do even worse inBPL but could win a trophy. Mixed emotions.

Evra did well to cut that counter out, though the ball was imperfect, went behind the run of Ramires and held him up. Could have been the game if it had been a better ball.

Re: FA Cup 6th Round Replay - Chelsea vs Manchester United
Fair enough, though I do feel that Benitez simply underestimated a very spritely Southampton side who are far more dangerous than their position suggests. I do believe that Benitez had confidence in the side that he sent out in the league, though we'll learn more about this when we see Chelsea face tougher weekend matches ahead of midweek clashes in Europe.

He'd be a fool to try that same thing next week against Sunderland.
We need a sub now, Mata or Oscar off. Anyone on.

Van Flopsie sends it over the bar.
Normally I'd take Oscar off, though the fact that Mata just picked up a yellow might affect my decision.

Moses on for Oscar. He looks like a body builder compared to Oscar.
