Anelka denies 'stupid' reports

Nicolas Anelka has denied “stupid” French reports that he is ready to terminate his Juventus experience early.

Le10Sport made the shock suggestion yesterday and that report was then quoted in Italy and Europe.

However, today the striker took to Twitter in order to slam the suggestion and sent the message in French.

“I never even thought of rescinding my contract with Juventus. Once again 10Sport are spreading stupid reports!”

The site had claimed Anelka was frustrated at the lack of playing time in Turin since his January transfer, making just two appearances for a total 35 minutes of football.

I thought it was bit odd, he would have been told his role and he's done nothing but say good things about Juve since he's arrived.
