@albi he was booed for losing the ball all the time not that pass. He is doing his best tho tbf to him but he has clearly overstayed his welcome and they are showing him this (because if we cant shift kaka there is a high chance one of morata/jese will be sent on loan which nobody wants)

@chad. it has become an occurence this season tho. For the crowd to chant Morata when a guy is going up to take a penalty is frankly humiliating

both Lopez and Iker were also subjected to booes although both are canteranos. fickle bunch of people

I'll never understand booing players that play hard and are well behaved... you can't fault them if they're trying. If they're not good enough and the manager plays them, boo the freakin manager ffs. If you don't think you have a good enough player to choose from, boo the president.

I was appalled when Higuain was booed last year. I mean, i'm no fan of his style of play as you all know... but you can't deny his effort. I just don't get it.

At PSG, they didn't even boo Pastore... and believe me, the guy deserved 100000x more than any of our players on Madrid.

If you want to boo, stay home. If you're going to be at the stadium, then you cheer.

I mean, Dortmund crowd cheered Goetze even after he stabbed them in the back.

The bernabeu probably has the coldest bunch.
They are very fickle and always singling players out during a game.

You'd think we'd be encouraging players throughout the season to ensure we get 3 points and win. If a player is poor its the coaches responsibility to address it.

Higuian boos were just :facepalm:

I dont think effort matters too..its quality that matters...you have frauds like Arbeloa putting full effort yet at best he is having average games.

Why would you boo the player if he's giving his best. It's not his fault that the manager plays him. If he's the best you have on the club, what is he supposed to do... ask to leave?

Misplaced anger this booing.

And that applies to Higuain. The manager chose to play him in CL when he had a much better option. Again, that's on the manager. It's not like Higuain went out there and tried to miss.

we played alot better in the second half when Ozil and DiMaria were subbed on

Ozil has problems defending, Carlo plays him in the pivot Proud

dat troll he did excellent there though

more excited about this kid than Casemiro

This game it was Jese trying too hard rather than Morata who did very well. Great assist for Kakas goal though

Other than the guys who are learning new positions and are obviously trying to get themselves comfortable + the kids + bench players... none of the other guys really played that hard. Since it was a lot peeps who never play together, it looked disjointed very often and players hesitated that split second more than they usually would...

Not much to take from this game other than it was for a good cause.
