morata needs more playtime in the starting lineup in preseason if he were to sucseed in the first team this season.

he needs to integrate to the team attack. look at denis now. he is playing consistently and performing well and connecting.

some of Carvajals passes were really really poor. he killed a couple of counters with tame passes. Hopefully he sorts that out before the league start

you could see the difference in our passing when khedira was subbed on. he should only play if we are playing a top team were we are likely to need defensive stability.

Just got home. WHAT A F*CKING GAME Had an amazing seat right on the field.

I yelled Istanbul at Carlo prematch, he smiled at me Did the same to Kaka but he ignored me. Also yelled YNWA at Robbie Keane and got a nice little wave from him. There was supposed to be photo opportunities on the field for my seating area but some idiots ran on the pitch and they canceled it

What a game by isco,10/10 imo. Di maria was actually average again..tried to rush the ball most of the time and his erratic decision making was showed. His off the ball movement was top class though and his work rate.This is same di maria of last season to me.

Kaka pls go..only player in the game that did absolutely nothing.

Casmeiro did good although he was beaten one time near the corner flag by LA right winger.Modric is playing DLP and controlled the game well although i think he couldve slowed the game a bit more, but as it is pre-season i understand why he released the ball a bit faster.

casemiro has surprisingly been good all preseason. for me khedira is too limited. if it were up to me id use him as a tactical sub rather than start all games. watching him attempt a weird long ball made me chuckle alittle bit. but I wouldn't sell him tho

pls go adit I bet he had 95% passing accuracy he very rarely passed wrong. his through balls it cuts a whole defence open. But isco oh lawd what a game shame his shots were crap I would have loved him to score

Thoughts after the first 10 minutes. Casemiro is a good box to box mf, needs to improve on his physical presence a bit got skinned from a position that he really shouldn't tbh. He shifts the ball very quickly and will be useful when Madrid want to counter. Khedira added nothing and attempted one fail ball. Kaka offers nothing and is a waste of space. Formation seems like some weird 422. Ronaldo acting as a forward/inside left, isco dropping central and going out wide. No focal point can't judge that well atm. Carvajal is playing very nervously and made a few dumb decisions. DI Maria always holds the ball to long and doesn't release it at the opportune moment.

yh we were playing a 4-2-2-2 with Isco being everywhere bar the right and inside the box. Ronaldo was more to the left but as usual drifted in. Kaka is a waste of space. I like this formation actually the fullbacks gets support from the two winger (isco and dimaria) and the cbs gets support from the pivot(modric and casemiro) that means they dont need to drift to either side which would expose us in the middle. Ronaldo is the furthest forward and doesn't need to track back.

so far so good. Everton drew against Juve I guess we will have to be wary

apparently anxiety is worsening Illarramendi's injury. He wants to come back too quickly. He won't play in preseason according to some reports
