Re: Real Madrid 2013 Pre-Season discussion
I am happy sahin is enjoying himself again. hope dortmund makes his move permanent
modric had to do too much today imo. Khedira isnt exactly known for hus passing abilities so modric did the work of two. I am confident he will do better witg Illaramendi
ronaldo and DiMaria have improved their decision making immensly(so far) hopefully dimaria doesnt revert back to his retardness again

Re: Real Madrid 2013 Pre-Season discussion
Few things....
- Ozil on the wings is not that bad, but not too good either. But Ozil was drifting alot so that was good.
- Isco (my fav player) has still not impressed me in Madrid yet, he seems to take long to pass and doesnt have the confidence to shoot.
- Carvajal needs to improve his crossing and has to overlap more often
- Pepe was beast
- Nach is not bad for his age and is a reliable sub
- Team as a whole is not playing direct and is failing to press at times or maybe its only friendlies still

Re: Real Madrid 2013 Pre-Season discussion
Carlo Ancelotti performed on Wednesday the last training before the first game in Los Angeles. On the field, the coach worked with two very different onces. Any of them would be worth a fortune in the market and any coach would take him home beautifully.
On one hand, Diego Lopez, Arbeloa, Ramos, Nacho, Coentrao, Khedira, Alonso, Ozil, Isco, Morata and Benzema. There was no room for another player, a certain Kaka. On the other hand, Iker, Carvajal, Pepe, Mateos, Marcelo; Modric, Casemiro, Di Maria, Cristiano, Cheryshev and Jesse. Of these two teams Carlo has to take out a starting lineup. It is evident that all do not fit. "Competition is good because it creates motivation and I have a great squad," said the Italian in his first press conference on this tour. A Ancelotti and no choice to choose. Internationals have returned and everyone is ready except the injured Varane, Alonso and Illarra.
None of the three play tonight in Phoenix against the Los Angeles Galaxy. Former Real follows the outside but the good news for Carlo is that it has started running. "We had a little problem with Illarra" noted Carlo, which has barely have the midfielder since he landed in Madrid.
Alonso, almost ready
Alonso, despite October spoken to reappear, is the closest returning must be based on the words of Carlo. The Tolosa completed all the training on Wednesday and then left to pursue his specific plan.
Varane is also not ready yet. It appeared that the Frenchman had returned from the holidays to stop, but needs more time. The French still working outside the group after surgery in France last May a meniscus injury.
For tonight's game, the competition will be fierce despite missing three players, and even without Gareth Bale. But Wednesday's session has helped to clear up some doubts. One of them, that Kaka has to keep working solo and with the group to dispute a post or Isco.Tampoco Özil is unclear Carlo system employed. In Wednesday's session did not work with his famous 4-3-2-1, but it proved with two pivots. Modric will be one of the players Ancelotti to send ahead of the competition with Alonso defense.
Özil will continue lying to a band to leave the center to Isco while Cheryshev once Carlo has Marcelo and Coentrao is playing already in place.
Jesse pointed
Up front, the direct competitor for a place with Benzema will be Jesse. The squad formed in the side without breastplate as more advanced player, with Di Maria on the right and the left Cheryshev Ronaldo behind the tip. CR7's position will change with regard to the scheme of Mourinho but Carlo refused him so important. Along most backward Modric, played Casemiro, which is still one of the revelations of the preseason.
On the computer that formed overalls, Morata was pulled to the right in a position known as Mourinho. Khedira was with Alonso and Isco again with freedom of movement. But the ultimate duel will look at the goal. Ancelotti is very aware of the porters. On Tuesday chatted a few minutes with Diego Lopez and has already met with Casillas. They both know it will not be easy to be in the starting lineup.
The competition is palpable among the group. Sergio Ramos himself as commented in the press conference. "There are many young people who are seeking passage, one breathes great enthusiasm and motivation, but also some uncertainty to win the job." The template is traveling today and will return to Phoenix after the meeting. Los Angeles Galaxy reach the floor of their stars Donovan and Robbie Keane.
so apparently Carlo has been trying out 4-2-3-1 which is probably the only formation that would make sense with bale. It also says that Jese is the back up to Benz not Morata who will be playing on the RW(if this is the case he might ascwell leave before he loses his appeal).
interesting to say the least

Wut? Jesé as a striker and Morata as right winger doens't make sence. Just switch them. Morata as a striker and Jesé as rightwinger. Jesé is soooooo much better on the left but ye Ronaldo...
