Ozil should play behind the WC striker(hopefully)/Benzema, he's better than Isco and playing on the right limits his abilities.

Casemiro can't be ignored for the midfield spot if he continues to perform like this.

Missed the first half though becouse I was watching the womans footy game. Can someone tell me how we did in the first half and how we played?

This is not working for us at all, so disorginised, even more then pelegrini tactics, this will never work, especailly against fast counter attacking teams and top teams.

We better stick with 4-2-3-1 or we are screwed if we play these 4-3-1-2 or 4-3-2-1.

I don't know what I thought of what I saw today. I enjoyed the idea of Di Maria in a role that I expect Khedira to play most of the season. The application of that idea was less enjoyable. But I still appreciate him trying it, because it could possibly end up in a pay-off.

Everyone was out of sync, team is still trying to find it's feet.

Well we were over run in mid field, Cheryshev grew into the LB role but still had some issues dealing with everything, Benzema was shit and is seriously starting to worry me. He barely ran for the ball, could not hold it up, looked disinterested and unfit.

Though this is early days. Lyon have been training for a good 2 weeks more than us
