Re: The ManUtd Transfer Thread
Rodriguez is very talented, just needs to make sure he doesn't waste it.
He could be a great buy.
And the 'Smalling-Jones' is looking amazing.

' Interesting. It appears that Wesley Sneijder's ambiguous comments about his future have not gone down well in Milan. Internazionale president Massimo Moratti has reacted by telling reporters: "It was sad to hear those comments." One to watch, perhaps.'
Also on Manchester United .com is reports on Marvin Martin, Modric, and maybe Alexis Sanchez. Wouldn't it be great if we pipped Barca and City to him?

Re: The ManUtd Transfer Thread
I am wet just thinking of a Sanchez - Valencia line up.
Wow, have you seen wings more powerful ? Both are beasts of nature.
But then I cry because deep inside me, I know SAF will never pay that kind of money to get him.

Re: The ManUtd Transfer Thread
Sunderland target Darron Gibson has revealed that he is ready to leave Manchester United if he does not start playing more regularly.
Skysports.com reported earlier this week that the Black Cats had launched a triple bid for Gibson and United team-mates Wes Brown and John O'Shea.
Gibson is now waiting to see whether a move materialises but insists he would have no problem making the switch to Wearside if it benefits his career.
The Republic of Ireland midfielder has previously been urged to quit Old Trafford by national team manager Giovanni Trapattoni as he remains a bit-part player under Sir Alex Ferguson.
"I haven't sat down with Sir Alex to talk but if it comes to me not playing as much as I'd like next season I'll have to move."
Darron Gibson Quotes of the week
And the 23-year-old has now indicated that it might be time for him to embark on a new challenge at the Stadium of Light.
Unfazed
"If Sunderland get the three of us it would be unbelievable business," he said.
"It wouldn't faze me one bit to leave, all I want is what's best for me.
"So if the best thing for me is to leave and go somewhere that I'll play every week then so be it.
"I haven't sat down with Sir Alex to talk but if it comes to me not playing as much as I'd like next season I'll have to move.
"I'm nearly 24. I'm going to have to go somewhere else if I don't start playing regularly."
Source: Sky Sports.
Looks like Darron Gibso is on his way to Sunderland. Good luck to him. It was expected too, he just looked not good enough for United.

Guys..Breaking News: According to the media, we are on the verge of signing Sanchez.
Gill is in Barcelona to finalise the deal.
More to come. Gonna be really interesting to see how this transfer news evolves this week.

Re: The ManUtd Transfer Thread
Even if I see Rooney on twitter saying : "Sanchez is a hell of a player", I will not believe it.
This is honestly one deal I can not see go through.
Maybe if Young wasn't so close to signing for us, I would be excited but meh.

Same kind of reports came out last season, with Ozil, and look where he ended up.
They just want to raise Sanchez price before shipping him to City.

Well, I don't recall Ozil ever saying United was his preferred destination, it was more we were the main team going after him. I can see Sanchez coming.

Yeah, in fact it is worse, he said he would like to go to Barcelona.
Honestly players are fickle, I do not trust reports until I see the guy having his medical at Carrington.

Re: The ManUtd Transfer Thread
why sanchez would want to go to barcelona i dont know. he'll be a bench warmer. i dont think he'll go to city even though they have offered the most money and he's unlikely to stay in italy. if i was him i'd go to united, a team that has recognised his talent and followed his progress for the last five years and more likely to play more games than barcelona.

Why Chelsea ffs?? I've seen more managers come and go there than what I do at Real Madrid. The club is in turmoil, the manager doesnt get the say on much transfers its Abromovic who wants to be the owner and the manager at the same time.... Come to your sense's Modric FOOL!

He has stated that he and his family are settled in London and will not move. He is all but Chelseas.

Re: The ManUtd Transfer Thread
Maybe that's our goal? Get rid of our rivals best players?
Next we'll get Rooney and Vidic and no one will stop us from taking the EPL!
we won't bother about Arsenal because they can't win anything.

Re: The ManUtd Transfer Thread
He's not going anywhere.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13822633.stm
Even if he is his price is going to be so inflated, as Tottenham don't need to sell him for financial reasons.

Re: The ManUtd Transfer Thread
Just the typical "one in, one out" move. Hope De Laet shines at Norwich.
Interesting to note how some time ago we were forced to field Carrick in CB. Now we have Vidic, Rio, Smalling, Jones and Evans as rotation. That's damn good.
