Its 9 now. I dont want to scare any of the Utd fans but he might become the next Torres.

It makes absolutely no sense.

A quick verification fo the stats show me Torres has scored 28 goals in 2,5 season. Van Persie has score already 23 goals in one season.

Van Persie season is already a big success. His dip in form isn't good for his stats, but he is not a flop at all. He has been amazing and one of the main reason Manchester United will be champion.

No he has been a focal point of winning the EPL this season, however hes been dry for 9 games now and its starting to worry. Its nothing if it was 3-4 games thats regular for forwards, but in this case its not anymore.

To worry who? A Chelsea fan? He just scored with Holland a superb header in the midweek.

VP had a similar dip in form with Arsenal last year. It changes very little. He is a great success unlike the mega flop Torres.

It's the Arsenal DNA. Arsenal players are usually out of all competitions at this time of the year and therefore not used to delivering in the run-in. It's also why Fabregas is without a single goal or assist for 2 months now. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Anyways as for RVP the guy has never been there in the most crucial stage be it for Holland, Arsenal or United but luckily United don't rely on him for goals so they can cope. he will be 30 in augus tho :/

We pocketed a hefty bit from selling a crocked 29 year old. This time next year, he'll be 5 months shy of his 31st birthday and falling into the Giggs role of playing every now and again. And that's assuming he doesn't suffer a career ending injury between now and then Smile

I can picture you with ur rvp voodoo doll wishing for his demise. Ain't gonna happen lexinator. League medal this season, maybe the cl or fa cup next season. It annoys that he is alreadya success at utd, and the fact he jumped ship as soon as his injury woes were a thing of the past Laughing

I think we can get a good 3/4 years outta him. The priceless goals he bailed us out with this season has more than just recupperated that 24 mill we gave arsenal.
