Walcott will eat Bayern alive
Is it me the only one think that Walcott will eat Bayern alive and announce himself in world class status in CL?

Re: Walcott will eat Bayern alive
Walcott is already world-class and I'm really scared of him. Alaba is fast too so lets hope he can keep up with Walcott.
This is going to be a tough match, the Gunner are heavily under-rated by many people.

Hmmm I hope so lol I still don't think Theo is world class but he is having a great season. I hope he can cause Alaba problems

I guess you have All see Walcott touches. He is the atomic element of death, for Arsenal(when in form). I hope he start against us, I enjoy watching us paying against the best of the best.
Finally Alaba is going to face his biggest challenge, anything less by Wenger is a mistake.... Walcott must start, I remember all the Blinding lightning of a goals tearing the nets apart.

He is having a great season and some of the things he does are top class but he's still got things to work imo before being classed the best of the best. But yes right now he is pretty deadly and definitely must start.
I'm looking forward to this game.

Who will play the left-back position for Arsenal..? Gibbs is injured and Santos is out on loan. Bayern Munich strongest point is from the wing, so I am thinking if Gibbs doesn't return back on time, it will be hard on whoever plays as Leftback.
I'm thinking, Bayern Munich line-up will look like this.
Neuer
Lahm-DVB-Dante-Alaba
Martinez-Basti
Muller-Kroos-Ribery
Mandzukic
or
Neuer
Lahm-Martinez-Dante-Alaba
Gustavo-Basti
Robben-Muller/Kroos-Ribery
Gomez.
What is Arsenal probable line-up...?

Don't think so. He's great and all, but I doubt that has been enough.

Bayern won't give him any space. He won't turn up.

Walcott doesn't really need space if he's going to be making runs in behind the defense imo.

Re: Walcott will eat Bayern alive
The thing about Walcott is that, much like Bale in the last few seasons, he can drift in and out of matches. However, again much like Bale, when he becomes relevant, he's instantly a threat. The problem with this is that Giroud's form is spotty, and Podolski isn't the goal-threat this forum thought he was when he agreed the Arsenal move.
If Bayern's defense is organized and disciplined, they can stifle the Gunner's attacks.

Re: Walcott will eat Bayern alive
We'll get chances vs Bayern (we do against every big team) Whether we put those chances away is a different matter
Gervais just missed a 1 on 1 with the keeper Hope Walcott's a bit more clinical vs Bayern

Re: Walcott will eat Bayern alive
i think walcott could do a lot more damage if he is played as a striker than a winger.

Arsenal will mount stiff resistance, no doubt about that. But Walcott eating Bayern alive? Not a chance in hell.
