Is zidane the luckiest man alive?
I mean, where do i even start from? Zidane the player or zidane the coach? Infact, i bet his wifes ex died on their wedding eve ffs. Is it always being at the right place at the right time? Or the clouds aligning at just the right time? Is it France 98 with ronaldo being injured on the eve of the final of all days? The 98 balon d'or win? 2003 wpoty win? Or the Galactico era, where he somehow magically came out as the only unscratched galactico despite being a scrub post 03? Him having a devish personality and somehow universally seeing as this *bleep* angel? Now as a coach this guy's totally shit in almost everything not named man management, yet u still see him topping la liga and all of a sudden barca have somehow turned into regular brain farts. Bayern should be scared, very scared.. No matter what u do, lord luckdane will definitely go through.. Its already written in the stars!!!

Re: Is zidane the luckiest man alive?
We might have some tough fixtures left but as long as luckdane is with us we expect to maintain the lead.
Re: Is zidane the luckiest man alive?
Like the post except for the 98 final. Luck had nothing to do with that, Brasil was mediocre and France played much better. Blame Brasil for that, not lady luck.

Re: Is zidane the luckiest man alive?
Did i miss something? RM bossed atleti today easily, their keeper and some last ditch defending saved them from a thrashing, how is he lucky? When Carlo is so glorified and he usually gets a beating in the derby, where is luckarlo?
Don't know why posters on here think because zidane just started coaching, believe they are better manager than him or he is lucky, anybody who has a brain and watched Real Madrid for the last 7 seasons knows the team more or less plays the same type of footy with the same strength and weaknesses, because cr is core of the team and he is "un-coachable" always been that way, any RM fans criticising zidane is poser, what's so different about the team since mou era?
What fans should be criticising zidane for is bringing in flopsco without kroos to hold his hand, lost sheep who can barely pass out of midfield .... So amazing though, keep deflecting boys.

Re: Is zidane the luckiest man alive?
You make your own luck... every time you win something, you have to get lucky along the way. But you have to give yourself enough chances to get lucky so that you eventually get things to go your way.
Zidane wasn't very lucky before WC 2002. He was also quite unlucky in Euro 2004 when France created 100 chances against Greece and couldn't score while Greece got exactly one chance and buried it. Same goes for 2006.... that save from Buffon in OT shouldn't have happened. Every keeper comes off his line in that situation. But Buffon stayed on his line for whatever reason and was able to make that crazy save.
i won't even talk about all the injury issues later in his career and crap NT manager and crap galactico policy that cost him.
That's the thing with champions... they get unlucky plenty of times. Zidane changed 3 leagues and god knows how many teammates and managers in his career. Yet he had the career that he had.

you can make a case for zidane the coach. and even as a coach he's had some good substitution moves....however, a player with the career he's had wasn't down to luck, none of his teammates nor opponents would agree with such statement, not even ronaldo the day after france 98 final would agree with that

Re: Is zidane the luckiest man alive?
How many years has barca dropped points and RM failed to catch up, its because RM players are spineless and not barca being lucky, now after sucking off MSN all season long now that their pulling a madrid, zidane is the lucky one now?
This forum is getting more rubbish by the day, there is zero thought in posts or threads anymore, everyone trying out kneejerk or hyperbole every little common thing that happens in football nowadays, to act like some poor mans and even more stupid version sky sports pundits.

Re: Is zidane the luckiest man alive?
Zidane was phenomenal in 1998 & France may have won without Ronaldo as well, Zidane was also great in 2006 & for Madrid as well.
Anyways coming to the match comments, Lewa & Neuer will both play (not an issue IMO). Real shame about Hummels, an amazing guy aerially who would have really stopped Ramos! We still have a good team though & we'll see how good Madrid really is !

Re: Is zidane the luckiest man alive?
luckdane used his "luck" to make vidal miss a pk....i hope this "luck" continues. when he stepped up i was wondering why vidal was taking a pk when they got alonso? anyway, don't know don't care. we need to be super focused in the second leg, still an even tie

Wouldn't call it lucky when the penalty was non-existent in the first place

And someone still doubts me? Red card in both legs, one when bayern have the upper hand and a blatant offside goal. FFS!!!
