Is this some kind of formal announcement to the English press?
Why would I not call them Manchester City Football Club? Is this an issue?
It's not an issue, just out of place and makes you appear like a very strange man.

Its not exactly new. I dont see the scope for discussion.
Glenn Whelan's attack on Javi Garcia and his offensive remarks are new. Liverpool Football Club being spared of injuries by Oldham Athletic Football Club is new. The Barclays Premier League is being poisoned by these savages and they should be exterminated.

His remarks are not directly about that tackle, I know that for sure.
Also who cares you got spared from injuries, go celebrate in the Pool section if you like.
The PL, like every league is getting softer and softer...there is no 'poising".

“I’ve gone in for the challenge and I don’t think I tried to be dirty but if it looks that way on TV then I’ll have to hold my hands up. I don’t think I caught him as much as he was rolling about."
"Obviously he’s felt it so you have to take that. I’ve caught him harder than I thought. Hopefully nothing will happen with it."
Those comments are not directly about the tackle? That's laughable. Glenn Whelan is an idiot for those comments.
Why must this mean I have to go to the section of Liverpool Football Club? This is a thread for English football, but Liverpool Football Club is just an example of what happens when thugs are given the ability to roam a football pitch.

Re: Savagery in English football.
Dude, look what you highlighted in red in the OP. Thats what im referring too.
As for those comments, whats the problem with them? Sound reasonable to me.
You should go to the Liverpool section if this post is about how lucky Pool were not to have players injured, because nobody gives a crap.

There is a reason why I used that segment of the quote for the original post. As you can see, the thread title is "Savagery in English football". Glenn Whelan felt that his tackle signified the 'English game', which is an atrocity for any English football-loving fanatic. You said that the comments were not directly related to the tackle, but I used that segment as how an actual player manipulates this 'getting stuck in' and 'bravery, determination, and strong tackle' imaginary policy that is apparently in place in English football.
Glenn Whelan wrote:"People have talked about tackling going out of the game but it’s only going out of the game because we’re not allowing it. If you’re getting pulled up on little things every week then people will stop."
Tackling going out of the game? What an imbecile. Look at what I highlighted in that quote. It's tragic.
I have talked about 6 different teams in this thread, not only about Liverpool Football Club. It's a shame that you could only deduce that from my awe-inspiring posts that are of an extremely high quality.

Re: Savagery in English football.
Nope, your jumping to a too big of a conclusion.
And even if what your saying is correct, he is just one player.
Also your "high quality posts" clearly suck because im the only one who is even partially making a discussion out of it for you.
This thread will die because it has no real value, meaning or interest behind it which is why you are and will resort to making controversial comments to make something out if it.

lol
I think were you went wrong here is you used a poor example, that being the Oldham vs Liverpool game were there was no dangerous tackles in the whole game.

Re: Savagery in English football.
Messi alone has scored more goals than 17 teams in La Liga so far this season.
La Liga's a joke.

Re: Savagery in English football.
primera division has no say in this,
im pretty sure we were and are all aware of english football's 'savagery' though given the last incidents peerless has the right to express his opinion,
i dont see the reason why you disapproved of his action
