Anelka completes medical visit

Nicolas Anelka has undergone a medical ahead of his proposed move to Juventus.

The French striker conducted the standard medical tests at Turin’s Istituto di Medicina dello Sport center this morning.

Nicolas Anelka is officially in Turin to complete his transfer to Juventus on a five-month contract.

The Shanghai Shenhua forward arrived in a private jet last night and is due to be paid €600,000 for five months, plus performance-related bonuses and an option to extend for another year.

“Nicolas Anelka has arrived in Turin for a medical ahead of his proposed move to Juventus,” read a statement this morning.

“The French striker will now undergo the standard medical tests at the city’s Istituto di Medicina dello Sport center.”

Hope he gets some playing time to be able to prove himself
