Neymar is not creating things out of nothing like we expected him to, which isn't as bad as it sounds because he has been a very good system player.. problem is we already have many system players we need magic.

I wouldn't say terrible at sales. It was just a different time. Plus if i recall, the likes of cesc and rvp had maybe a year left on their deal, so arsenal had to sell for almost whatever price. I may be wrong but i think they had a year or two left max on their contracts. Oxlade at the price he went for was a steal, I was never a big fan.

By the way what's going on with Emile Smith Rowe ?

Back in the day, if a player wanted to leave, you got the best price you could from the club he wanted to go to. It was a gentleman's agreement between top clubs and top players. If you didn't do it, top players would stop playing for you (which is what's going to happen to PSG imo).

Wenger was always a players coach. So he always did right by his players while doing the best he could for the club. That's why Arsenal would attract so many great players at the time.... Wenger.

It was supposed to be Diaby, Gourcuff and Grenier... along with Matuidi and Yann M'Vila.  Only Matuidi turned out ok lol.

My close friend has his favourite player as ESR but he himself knows him taking Odegaards place is slim to none.
