English media are reporting all depends on the talks btw Wenger and Nasri today.If he informs wenger he wont sign a new contract then Arsenal will sell him for 28mil(25 pounds) apparently.

L'Equipe are talking about the price in Euros you have to remember. They've reported through the Guardian.

It was a £20 million offer, rejected. Arsenal want £25 million.

Very true. There's still a significant gap then.

I love how arsenal fans are shitting all over nasri with "what has he doe all season? He had 4 good months.". Well in the same logic it can be argued that cesc isn't ws good ws people claim.

cesc has over 90 assists in the last 6 seasons. took Arsenal to the CL final along with henry, was one of our better players in 2005 FA cup final, and he was 18 at that time and was our best player in 07/08 where we nearly won the league


Nasri ?

You can't compare Nasri to Cesc at this point. Achievement are far apart. Pricetags reflect that...

However, if you just look at this year, the gap is much smaller.

Personally, i would hold on to Nasri until the winter... see how the season goes. If he performs well, sign him to a big contract and then sell him if you want. If he is meh, his contract demands will obviously decrease and you may be able to keep him, if you want to.

Wenger is being a little too public + black & white about this issue imo.

Wenger actually spoke to the french media a few weeks back and stated that the Nasri contract extension talks have completely stalled over salary demands.

I just really saw very little reason to say that other than Wenger starting the PR spin against Nasri to either get him to stay or make him a villain for leaving.

It definitely antagonizes Nasri, which is surprising if you want to keep him.

well, you have to take some distance when you compare players and look at their overall performance over some period of time. you cant just use one's performance on a year to call him the best.

Nasri is worth 15m pounds thats all.
