Federico Peluso could make his Juventus debut against Sampdoria on Sunday, but Kwadwo Asamoah has left for African Cup of Nations duty.

The Bianconeri named their squad for tomorrow’s Serie A game, which includes defender Peluso just days after completing his transfer from Atalanta.

Asamoah is not included, as he is working with Ghana to prepare for the African Cup of Nations.

Giorgio Chiellini, Nicklas Bendtner and Simone Pepe are long-term injury absentees.

Juventus squad for Sampdoria: Buffon, Storari, Branescu; Caceres, De Ceglie, Peluso, Bonucci, Barzagli, Marrone; Pogba, Marchisio, Padoin, Pirlo, Vidal, Giaccherini, Isla; Vucinic, Giovinco, Quagliarella, Matri

It should be good to see him and he knows Conte so he won't be alien to the style of play.

Matri deserves to play, I would probably play him with Mirko and at one point go 4-3-3, which will help with out lack of defenders and give Matri what he needs.

Yea this is the perfect time to go 4-3-3. Matti showed last time out that he performs in a 4-3-3. Damp is not exactly scary so I'm not worried defensively. And Chiellini is out. I would play like this:

--Buffon--
--Caceres-- --Barzagli-- --Bonucci-- --Peluso--
--Vidal-- --Pirlo-- --Marchisio--
--Giaccherini-- --Matri-- --Giovinco--

And around the 60-70th minute, switch to a 3-5-2 with Peluso at LCB so he can get used to playing in a 3 man defense. Also bring Lichsteiner, Vucinic, and Marrone on. Something like this:

--Buffon--
--Barzagli-- --Bonucci-- --Peluso--
--Lichsteiner-- --Vidal-- --Pirlo-- --Marrone-- --Giaccherini--
--Vucinic-- --Matri--

Lichtsteiner has to skip this match because he got too much yellow cards
