Just had an amazing match

I was down to 10 men after 4th minute due to some shitty bastian tackle. After that i went ultra defensive and counter attack with ribery n robben upfront. won 5-0 Laughing

I used to rate myself pretty highly, but I just noticed that I haven't even tried playing online in FIFA 13 during the whole time I've had it rofl

I only ever play career anymore because it means I don't have to commit to anything and can just stop playing or rematch when I get pissed off or bored, which is pretty quickly these days. I don't know why it's like this, but I have just hated FIFA since the day I bought 13, if not at the end of my time with 12.

I find playing the computer to be more frustrating than playing someone online. I think I get more stressed from career mode games and I do not really have it in me to quit them. That being said, I can relate to the feeling of not wanting to commit, but it really only is 15 minutes, so I play when I know I am in that mood. I have played 45-55 games in seasons and I had a stage where I was played 20-25 Ultimate team online games (I do not care as much for my record on that).

I am not into gaming as much these days and it is a shame how much these video game people try to milk us bone dry. Not sure what I will do when the new consoles release and next year might be the first year where I do not look to get Fifa on release day (not sure if I can actually go through with that).

please help

ive just finished the last game of my second season and im advancing through the last few days getting the standard "player x contract is expiring" etc all well. Then i got an email asking me to activate Akes buyout clause, so i did that and after i offered him a contract when i try to advance to the next day my xobox freezes everytime, does anyone know how i can fix this?

note: i dont have xbox live, updated squads etc

Similar errors use to happen, however one of the patches fixed it. Have you downloaded the latest patch?

Sometimes the game just stops working. Updates would probably fix the issue, but I've seen these issues all too often myself (example: 7 seasons into my virtual pro career that I played hundreds of games in). Conclusion: this game isn't the flawless masterpiece SoccerMemes would have you think it is!

What McLewis said and also, do not worry about power so much. I think part of my problem used to be wanted to only score spectacular goals (I mean who would not), but I often see some of the better finishers online going away from power. Just a side-note: I understand why it is important to shoot low, but I find it hard to think that way when taking a volley from 25 yards out.

I only really use a power shot if I actually intend to pay attention to the power bar. Don't really gotta fill the bar up to hit a rocket in the upper 90. Half a bar will get you a pretty shot.

I was more of a finesse guy on FIFA 12, but with this game I gotta really aim that shot to get it right. Love that challenge honestly.

True, in FIFA 12 i was scoring finesse shots like mad. I honestly like the finishing in this game more, a bit more sensible

Yeah, in FIFA 12, the 'cut inside from wide then curl a powerful finesse shot into the far bottom corner' move got me a goal at least every other game Laughing

And no, I do not use manual shooting unless I am trying to complete some sort of challenge or am trying to test myself.

I primarily use manual shooting for skill challenges or in Career mode against scrub teams.

Bayern Munich is probably the best team in the game.

The fullback are very fast, the center backs are very good, specially in headers, the midfielders are great, and the front line is awesome as well.

Real Madrid and Dortmund also get a shout out from me, also germany.

I really have a thing for germans so i like to use german teams...

So for germany, dortmund, and bayern i use very similar cb partnerships

Hummels/Howedes
Hummels/Santana
Boateng/Dante

I put hummels on the side of the faster fullback because i dont want to get caught out incase i make a defensive mistake in my team and leave space open, and i put the other faster centerback on the other side.

All of the mentioned centerbacks have all the nessecary tools to do excellent jobs, i prioritize defense, that is why i rarely get caught out, and they do their job very well.

In ultimate team my team is..

SIF Ter Stegen
Lahm Hummels (IF Howedes) Alaba
Sven Bender Gundogan ( Or Holtby because schweini is worth too much)
Gotze Ozil Podolski
Reus

You can also put klose instead of reus and reus instead of podolski..

Well martinez is very slow in comparison, in game there is not much reason to prefer him to boateng imo, boateng makes up for it with his speed and better heading.

Google futhead for stats on players...

Boateng/Dante is superior combo i think, and i prefer to have luiz gustavo in mid as well because he kind of reminds me of ramires' skill set in this game..
