Joe Cole's Salary Breakdown
Joe Cole's incredible salary breakdown:
Joe Cole earns..
£5.2m a year..
Which is roughly around £433,000 a month..
That means he earns £100,000 a week..
Meaning £14,285 a day..
So £600 an hour..
£9.98 every minute..
This means he earns 16p every second..
These stats are absolutely shocking!
Since joining Liverpool, in the Premier League he has made 22 appearances, scoring two goals, and getting one assist.
All of this, for being out of breath after 10 minutes of each game he plays, smoking a couple of packs of ciggies every week.
living the dream Joey lad

Re: Joe Cole's Salary Breakdown
Based on 2011, salary earnings alone, J. Cole takes home more money than;
Cassillas, benzema, higuain, pirlo, Schweinsteiger, robben, ozil, khedira
And just 300.000 pounds or so, less than villa, d.alves and iniesta.
maybe tax issues and what not, but still....

Re: Joe Cole's Salary Breakdown
Micheal Owen cost us 17m while giving him 130k a week wages to sit on his arse and train horses.
That's without mentioning the ridiculous amount of money we spent on bringing him back from various injuries.
Worse transfer ever? not even close lol.

Re: Joe Cole's Salary Breakdown
Lionel Messi can do some amazing things, but anything he can do Joe can do as well, if not better. He used to shock us in training by doing footy tricks with a golf ball that most players can't even do with a football. I really fancy Joe for the [player of the year] award this season - gerrard

Also, how do Liverpool get away with paying him 100k a week? What are other stars on?

Re: Joe Cole's Salary Breakdown
^ fairly accurate with one difference.
Suarez is at 100 and so is Reina.
can't wait to get rid of Cole and Carragher's wages
wtf was Comolli thinking when negotiating Henderson n Downing's wages
Borini on 30k, and Allen on 45k as well, Assaidi on 21k/week.
from this year's signings. also from Sahin's 85k/week, we pay 64k of it.

Re: Joe Cole's Salary Breakdown
"Fairly accurate" without a source means nothing. You're "fairly accurate" sources had us signing Gaston Ramirez in July.

Re: Joe Cole's Salary Breakdown
^ except that I denied Ramirez rumours THROUGH OUT THE ENTIRE summer.
I can go and refer our skype convos to back it up.
I may be a egoist, knee-jerking, arrogant asshole, but I know my footy and info

Re: Joe Cole's Salary Breakdown
To be fair red, that thread was made when Dalglish was still the manager. We were heavily linked to him and looked favourites to sign him.

Re: Joe Cole's Salary Breakdown
It isn't about Sep, though, it's about his sources. These sources made a claim that every Billy-Bullshit on the internet was spouting off at the time, and then went on to claim that FSG were forcing the sale of Agger to make money. Now said sources are apparently telling us those are the wage values for LFC's players. Hell, I haven't even said that the wage values are actually incorrect (though I have indeed implied as much); I'm asking for the origin of these reports/rumours so that I can have a look and judge for myself.
I don't for a second doubt that Sepi believes what he's posting, but at the same time I also do not trust information without having some idea of where it originates, no matter what subject it's on. To that end I am simply showing WHY I do not trust these great and mysterious sources.

Re: Joe Cole's Salary Breakdown
That's fair enough and I agree entirely. I don't agree with most of his posts involving his source but I do agree with some to an extent. (Those that actually have journalists or "itks" in Tony Barrett stating the same infomation etc)

Re: Joe Cole's Salary Breakdown
Poor mans Winston Bogarde
Bogarde responded, 'This world is about money, so when you are offered those millions you take them. Few people will ever earn so many. I am one of the few fortunates who do. I may be one of the worst buys in the history of the Premiership but I don't care.'
