Roma were selling, they forced him out. It's really if we wanted him, we could've had him. Especially since our owners are best buddies.
Do i really need to name all the players Spurs have beaten you to signing over the last few years?
Spurs are better than you, deal with it. Because Spurs can get him don't mean you can.
Not to mention at least Spurs are in Europe
So looking forward to this season and dem humble pies once again, right at everyone's face!!!!

It is okay Mole, we were all deceived by the ridiculous signings Spurs pulled off last summer which is the only reason I have minor apprehension about what Roma is doing right now.
I still think they will come good from what I have seen so far, but honestly lets see how Spurs do against actual competition.

It's not about that, at the time Spurs were seen as a better prospect for players to join. Nothing to do with on the pitch stuff.
Of course hindsight cowards like Gil will twist it but I was talking about Spurs in terms of being club players wanted to join.
At the time what I said was true, but apparently things can't change and I was wrong

Re: The Erik Lamela Appreciation Thread
I mean there isn't any reason he can't be a serviceable squad player at Sevilla. That's what he was at Spurs, and I can see him being better in La Liga, especially since he's getting to be a bit older.
Watching that video on page one makes me sad for his lost potential. Man is made of glass. I'm not sure he was ever gonna be among PL's best, but he had some good seasons. He was a legit great player in 15-16. He was never pacey but he could go past players. He still can occasionally but the average pace he did have is gone.
Loved him at Spurs and still love the guy. I hope he keeps on being a *bleep* at Sevilla just like at Spurs (in a good way, I mean).
