Less than a week before It's released. Anyone planning on getting it? I've always liked Halo but I'm pretty much a scrub online.

From what I've seen, they've changed a lot of the multiplayer and now it's more catered to the COD crowd, which is good..and bad. I always liked it as an alternative to COD, but as long as they've kept the core of Halo it should be good.

I f*cking LOVED Halo 1&2, Halo 3 was okay, the rest since then have sucked....now its just getting embarassing at this point

I think I was better at Halo 2 than I have ever been at a video game except Mario Party 2

Would love to get it so i have something MP wise to tide me over till Gears Judgment and GTA 5 come out in the Spring.

But i just can't get into this never seemed to my thing, shame as it seems to have quality to it.

Not really a 4th particularly..... it's a prequel telling a different story to the first 3 kinda like ODST or Reach can't remember which one.

Gears 4 will probably left till the next generation.

Reach is poop. Halo 3 was goat.

Reach's multiplayer is among the best Halo has to offer, 2nd only to the original multiplayer for me.

I'm looking forward to Halo 4 though mostly because I want to see how it plays post-Bungie.

Agreed on the Reach multi, my favourite.

I disliked reach so much. I lived Halo 3.
No special perks, no "power up"/class system".

I hope halo 4 does the series justice

CoD 4 onwards has a ridiculously low skill-cap which appeals to casual gamers and keeps sales high - from a business standpoint why would one trend towards anything else?

But that's not a business standpoint. From a business standpoint you're right, and that's the real shame of it all.

Halo 3 is by far better than Reach. I play more Reach so I can play with a friend/2 that don't have Halo 3, but if I'm playing just with my bro, definitely doing Halo 3. Halo 3 multi/XBL is so much more superior.

I'm not sure if I'll get Halo 4, but whatever I do, I'll definitely wait a fair bit and watch a lot of it to see what direction it's headed.

Not getting anything at the moment, Halo 4 included.

Have never paid full price for a Halo game and I'm not going to start now. Just not that high on my priority list so when it's about 15 bucks cheaper, then I'll have a look.

Bioshock:Infinite, Devil May Cry, Dead Space 3, New Sly Cooper, Metal Gear Rising, Tomb Raider, God of War:Ascension and Gears of War Judgment are all confirmed for Q1.

While GTA could be released in that time frame also

Got it today, loving the campaign so far, playing through on Legendary solo. Pretty difficult, but as with most Halo's it's just trial and error.

MP is good, clearly more catered towards COD, and far too many vehicles on some of the big team matches. Can't see myself playing it much once COD is released in a week, though.

I didn't buy it but...looking through all the features in multiplayer, all I can say is...

Took a bunch of things from COD and renamed them, but the game plays nothing like it.

Been watching this on Youtube today and looks insanely fun but don't want to risk it in case i don't like it like all the other Halo's.

Need to find a cost effective way of trying it for myself without actually buying it

Blockbuster? I think they still exist in some places.

It's really fun online and I'm pretty much a scrub. I just wish they released it a couple of months ago, I know it won't get enough of a run from me with FIFA, COD, and AC on the agenda.
