Glad that game is over
Our defense is crap. When is Pique coming back?

on a side note, the ref had something against Barca, for sure, as it is not his first time. But at least we washed off that bad Sevila karma as CBarca pointed out in the chat.
He ref'ed the Osasuna - Barca game last season, you know where we got a goal wrongly disallowed when we are losing 1-0 then later Osasuna scored an offside goal to make it 2-0 and later didnt give a penalty to us and we ended losing the game 3-2...
I feel sorry for Alba, the guy was having a great game until the own goal...

Messi's shot accuracy is out of this world
Referee was joke
Defense was joke as usual
And Cesc is the best passer in the team

I think talk of corruption is cheap but referees have got more wrong against Barcelona than for them in the past couple of seasons.

In 10 weeks we'll be getting a series of penalty and offside calls in our favor and the finger will be pointed at us then. We get some we lose some.
That being said, refs should hold more accountability for bad calls.

True that, but no one ever mentions that. It is always "us getting" good calls, when it has been the opposite last and this season. But, in the end it evens out. I just hate when people refere to refcelona, when it really makes no sense.
However, i think this ref has some sort of grudge with Barca, not saying conspiracy, perhaps something personal!

Re: Deportivo de la Coruña - Barça Saturday at 22:00
didn't watch the game.
A firend of mine told me that Cesc was pretty good tonite and Messi godly.
Forgot to ask him how Masch got the red. Anyone can feel me in?
P.S. I have no hopes of seeing Brtra anymore.
Some games ago a guy here told me that it's too early to judge if he's used.
Anyway, I hope we buy some CB in the winter transfer window.

Masche's 2nd yellow was a disgrace, it wasn't even a foul.
I have no hopes of seeing Bartra either, but I trust Tito. We don't know how Bartra is playing or if he's good enough. We've been asking for Villa to start for a while now and wondering why he didn't. Today he did and was pretty invisible.

Tito has to tighten up the defense, even with the injuries, it's shambolic at times...And twice Montoya put it out for corners when he could've done sent it to the touchline
Actually, I thought VeeYa still looked pretty rusty
BTW, Cesc was booked for celebrating the 5th goal, from the bench

I though Villa was decent. He was stretching the defense with his off-ball runs and that helped us create a lot. He got into nice postion couple of times and also almost assisted Messi. Of course that was not up to his standard, but i would not call it invisible either.

Re: Deportivo de la Coruña - Barça Saturday at 22:00
Great game! I'm liking more and more this Tito's Barça.
Yes, our defence is a bit shaky, however we are better than ever in attack. We've been able to score every single game and we look much more likely to score in every game, to make comebacks and to break down park-the-bus defences. I don't see a team pulling a Chelsea vs. us this season.
Also, I love comebacks and goals-galore games. I prefer winning 4-3 than 1-0. Cruyff all the way.
I disagree a lot that our defence looked shaky. Deportivo scored 4 goals: 1st one was a wrong penalty, second a GK mistake although it was difficult to save because of blocked visibility (lucky shot to go through), third goal was a great free kick, fourth was a great own goal (lucky too). Not much to do with our defence. Deportivo had other chances, but they were mostly long shots, and none of them due to a defensive mistake. Also, we played a long time with ten men (btw, second yellow to mascherano was a joke, he touched the ball) and conceded only because a superb chip from Alba. Romario would be proud of him. I'm in favour of buying a CB, but this game is not a reason why we should. Also, our defence is better If Alves doesn't play, and if Alba is on the left, we don't miss an attacking FB.
I'm very happy with Cesc and Messi current form. Messi was bad the begining of season, but you could see a change in his game since benfica, and he is now playing great again. Hope he keeps it up all season long.

Montoya, played well in my opinion the only flaw in him that I saw was his ability to clear always lead to a corner which quite frankly we suck in.

Re: Deportivo de la Coruña - Barça Saturday at 22:00
Interesting thing is that last season's scenario continues. R.Madrid gets all the penalties at the beginning of the season, and Barca gets 0.
I expect Barca will get their penalties at the end of season when the competition is finished (like last season)
La Corruption Liga

Montoya was good. His biggest mistake was a missed cross in the second half. Aside from that he did everything well. Yeah,he could have clear to out instead of corner a couple of times, but he didn't own-goal like Alba...
Anyway, this seasons full backs form: Adriano>Montoya>Alba>>>>>>>>>Alves.

I actually like how Alba plays, although he does have some defensive errors for being a shot man, he ha a strong body and seems to push others around.
His pace is also useful, and one two passes are better then Adriano's.
Was smarter to start Alba over Adriano, today but in bigger matches with teams with stronger attacks we should bring on Adriano.

I like what Alba offers up top, especially his combinations with Iniesta, but given the makeshift defense we have I prefer the more balanced style of Adriano.

Hardly anything to say about villa, he was unlucky Mascherano got a red and he had to be sacrificed for a defender.
He almost passed through a pass to Messi to be 1v1 but the defense blocked it out, other then that don't think he was involved in any of the ball.
