Juventus are ready to swoop for Pablo Daniel Osvaldo after the striker hit back at Roma boss Zdenek Zeman.

Osvaldo had already been a target for the Bianconeri over the summer, but that interest could be revived in January.

The Italian international of Argentine origin was dropped along with Daniele De Rossi for last week’s 2-0 win over Atalanta.

“I was disappointed by Zeman’s words, though. People can say anything about me except that I don’t put the effort in,” he said after scoring for Italy against Armenia.

“Did we clear the air? There was nothing to clear.”

Tuttosport now claim Juve are ready to offer Fabio Quagliarella as part of an exchange deal to bring Osvaldo to Turin.

He would also solve their striker problem, as Nicklas Bendtner has barely featured for a handful of minutes since arriving on loan from Arsenal.

i really want to see bendtner get a couple of games before we make any big decisions. with that said, i'm not against this move.

Defo better than Matri and Quags! I want to see Bendtner given a fair chance though coz I think he could be a top striker!

i think osvaldo might fit juve, at least better than matri... still dont see how/why bendtner will play for juve.. what a waste!

I would love Osvaldo at Juventus, became a fan a couple of months ago after watching all of his club and International games.
