I was top of league with Leceister City, got offered the United job right after the January transfer window, United were in 5th spot, 20 pts back of my Leceister City team, I couldn't turn down United job, so i accepted, ended up winning the league on the final day, made up 20 pts in 3 months, won every tropy, captial one cup, fa cup, league title, champions league

Lost in the CL final to Chelsea, I was crushed. They came back from 1 nil down. Hazard scored a last minute winner....I allow so many comebacks is amazing.

Took the shine off winning La Liga.

I got Song back from Inter, had to be done. In the Jan before, I signed Waynama but he is still a bit meh and didnt replicate what Song did. He will go out on loan, thus far only Chelsea have offered to take him which I turned down because I hate the bastards lol

Finished 7th in the EPL last season. Serves me right, I started off well and looked to be in a CL place but I went through an eerily similar Barca-esque slump after the January transfer window which propelled me all the way to 10th. Only near the end did I go on a good run where I managed to bring myself up to 7th.

Decided to scrap my 4-3-3 and go with a 4-5-1 for more defensive cover, I was letting in far too many goals with the 4-3-3 (embarrassing amounts really). I had tried the 4-5-1 out near the end of the season to close games out, and then I started with it and found success with it, and have now made it my starting formation for this season which I just started. I made it an objective to improve my defensive record (conceded something like 55 times in the league last season) while managing to keep my offense as good as it was, and I'm always looking to make my average age younger.

A lot of people were after Danny Graham after scoring 22 league goals, and Porto came along offering 13 million. I counter offered 20 million, expecting them to reject (but slightly hopeful that they would accept) and they did accept. Vorm wanted out so I sold him to Milan for 10.5 million. Ended up offloading Routledge for a mere 5 million as well, and lost JDS in the midfield (had him on loan). With the extra money I bought a replacement to Vorm in Forster (Barca-Celtic games made me do it lol), bought the LB Insua for 10 million, Dzyuba (Spartak Moskow striker, 6'4 and a tank) for 8 million, and Miralles for 13 million. Replaced JDS with KKKKIIIIIIIIIIIIII!

Defensive problems seem to be fixed- while I'm thinking of replacing Ki with someone more creative that can push forward (like Dembele), but his defensive cover with Iturraspe has lead to me getting scored on just once in 5 games in the league this season, which was me stupidly throwing the ball to the opposition

Offense is still blending together, but the Dzyuba-Michu partnership has been great already, and Miralles and Dyer are both capable of tearing sh*t up out wide. Both Insua and Lopes are fairly effective at overlapping out wide, and with Michu and Dzyuba in the box (and maybe one of Iturraspe or Ki as well) I'm both a threat from crosses and on the ground.

It looks like it's going to be a great season. I'll wait longer to decide, but Dzyuba looks like an absolute bargain at this point, Miralles too is really coming into his own up front.

I'm currently doing a Chicago one. It's on legendary and all the strictness settings etc are on whatever the hardest is.

I won the first game, drew the 2nd game and won the 3rd game.

When I first started the Chicago save, it froze during the first game when I paused. So I had to start from the beginning of the season again. Fortunately this time round none of my players got a lengthy injury in the simmed friendlies.

The only injury was Macdonald I think his name is, getting injured for 2 days.

However I haven't got my financial takeover this time. Had around 44m overall in the first Chicago save.

Financial takeovers don't make sense for MLS clubs anyway, as MLS has a salary cap and such.

Well I'm about 10 Liga games into my second season and things have gotten better defensively since I was pretty bad last season (43 goals conceded in La Liga alone). This has to do with my conversion to dabbling with a 4-2-3-1 although I interchange it with the 4-3-3 a lot. My first season ended with a treble of Liga, Copa and EL after getting ko'd of the CL group stage. Here's my current 4-2-3-1:

It works so far but the 4-3-3 is still my standard and a few notes on FIFA 13's f-ing awesome transfer dealings:

Messi just straight walked out at the beginning of my 1st season for cheap ($91 mil to city), Tello refused to have me renew his contract so BMG picked him up for free and City offered to buy Cesc so I countered with what I thought was a ridiculous $55 million dollar request and they were happy to go for it so he's gone too.

So I picked up Lucas but Benat has been doing better and I'm still trying to give my Barca a Brazilian flair. But TS was just ridiculous pricey so I settled for Kompany and maybe Dede later on.

Sent Dodo out on loan and bought Davide Santon as my new LB with Balza as back up. Re-introduced Romagnoli into the defensive corps after selling Burdisso for 1.3m.

Madrid offered 6m for Romagnoli and I turned them down, they then offered 29m for Lamela and 24m for Pjanic and turned them down on each occasion.

Currently 2nd to Juve in Serie A, leading my group in the CC, and will face Juve in the Quarters of the Coppa Italia. Osvaldo is my leading scorer with 14 goals followed by Destro with 12. Pjanic leads the league with 13 assists.

Defence is still a huge problem with me. Tbh I'm not a huge fan of Pique, Puyol is declining badly and Alves just isn't the beast he was in the last game. Dede is really my best defender. Montoya isn't quite ready to step up and Adriano is underrated horribly in the game.

Think I might do the same as Barca2011 and change to the 4-2-3-1. Also having trouble pleasing a lot of my players so I'm planning on making some big squad changes.

I will sell Villa and Adriano and maybe Alexis and I might go in the market for Vertonghen or bring Muniesa back from loan (2 in 1 CB, LB).

I also have all these youths I just bought but never play. The game is stupid and won't let you loan immediately which screwed me over because I simply will not bother finding game time for the likes of Grimaldo, Rafinha, O. Torres and even Deulofeu. Sergi Roberto has been good though and already at 78 for me.

I like working with a small squad... so my plan in the future when I have to move some player's on is...
