Division 1 is disgustingly wack. I'm using Everton but still getting matched up with the likes of Barcelona, Madrid, and Brazil.

If the overall means next to nothing, then why is Messi higher than Ronaldo? Since Ronaldo is the more versatile forward of the two. Why is Xavi and Fabregas rated higher than Schweinsteiger? I undestand that theit overall ratings is not the only thing that matters, but it does matter, and should be fixed. Ibra is far better than RVP at everyrhing including versatility, so he should be rated higher. Vidal is a better DM than Busquets, AND more complete, so he should be.rated higher. Get what im saying?

you realize that say a player like fabregas compared to pirlo in overall, fabregass is a pacier player who probably has greater acceleration and sprint speed, makes that 2 pt difference, doesn't mean they are a greater player or better, means they just have a different dynamic to them.

That's exactly the point. Despite Messi being rated higher than Ronaldo, Ronaldo is the better player in the game(by far, I might add). You'd have to play with both players to know the difference yourself.

I don't believe there's such a thing as a better player in Fifa, I think it all comes down to who's playing. I might prefer to play with certain players that Barrett happens to think are useless. I think this Fifa did a great job of allowing players to have a more authentic DNA than Fifa games of the past; it's not quite on par wait NBA 2K, although it's a nice first step.

Yea, i never use Messi or Ronaldo in the game, but i play against them all tge tune, and i agree that Ronaldo is more difficult to play against, but youre contradicting yourself. Yoy say Fabregas is more complete than Pirlo so he can be rated higher, but Robaldo is more conplete but rated lower. Doesnt make sense. And this.isnt the only example. As i said.before, Vidal is a better DM than Busquets AND more complete, yet hes rated lower. And thats just one example.

^Fabregas has higher speed, finising(he's a really good finisher) and acceleration ratings I would assume. And I'm sure there are probably 1 or 2 more aspects that make him rated higher than Pirlo.

When it comes to CR,you can give the controller to a 5 year old and he will still manage to outrun and out-muscle you and score several times

The thing I hate the most about FIFA 13 after the fact that any striker has Bale speed is the long shots, its so ridiculously easy to get a long shot on target.

Except Ronaldo isn't more complete than Messi. Ronaldo has superior physical attributes but Messi has better technical and mental too, probably, while still being very good physically.

Vidal is a better DM than Busquets. That's an example of rating a player based on principle - you think he's better so you think he should be rated higher overall. They're different players who do different things. Busquets probably has very high attributes for a lot of key areas for his position, while Vidal has better attributes in other areas while having not-as-good attributes in the same areas as Busquets.

Just stop paying attention to the overall score. If you begin comparing overall scores of players who do different things on the pitch, you're going to find all sorts of inconsistencies.

That might be the case for you, but it most certainly isn't the case for me. To Ronaldo is pacy, but you just have to constantly watch the runners in this game as hoof ball seems to be rewarded in this Fifa. My defense is my strong suit and I tend to concede limited amounts (most of the goals against me are silly deflections after I make 2-3 tackles which don't result in me winning possession).

I also agree that long shots aren't very difficult, but they do get blocked massive amounts. While the shot is powerful, there is a bit of a delay when loading up.

Arsenal don't really have good attackers. The only good overall one is AOX, but I think his ball control or something isn't that good.

Well it depends on how you use the players. For me Podolski is getting a hattrick nearly ever other game. Although i agree they have made walcott a bit more poor than fifa12

And my black friend has the skin of a Native America. Don't use the game face, last year they gave me a black neck! There still seems to be an issue/bug with the game face feature and I haven't even bothered with it this season (I think it's actually worse this year :facepalm:
