Could play the Giggs role i suppose, wouldnt mind him here.

Giggs role, that is exactly what I thought this morning.

At first I was like, meh Nasri is a CAM, why would we get him. But then I thought of our very own Giggs who excelled in the CM position last season, so why not Nasri too ?

And in the unlikely event Nani, Young, Valencia, and Park are injured, Nasri would at least be able to play on the wings.

I still don't think this will happen. I would only believe it once I see a pic of him on his way for a medical.

Arsenal will cave in to his wage demand. they don't wanna be losing both him and Cesc in one summer. Trust me, his agent is behind all this fiasco, just as how Rooney's was. They are using United's name to scare Arsenal into giving him more $

Saturday's papers are filled with news about us being in pole position to get him and that SAF wants the purchase to be finalized before the squad goes off for pre season.

My stance is still the same, I won't get excited until I see him heading for a medical.

At first I was against this, but at the price he is going for ...hell yes! But maybe KSA is right, lets not get excited unless a medical is going to happen.

I agree KSA, but aside from that I think the a lot of people are underestimating him.
Yes, maybe he didn't perform very well at the end of the season, although maybe it was because Wenger played him almost every match with no squad rotation. If you look at Nasri at the beginning and the middle, he's worth more then we are expected to get him for.

What I'm most afraid of is that he might of picked up some really bad habits at Arsenal, especially towards the end of the season. Pass when your meant to shoot, and pass when your meant to cross. Hopefully, the directness of our play will mean he gets rid of some of those old habits.
