they take over assistant jobs and when Mou leaves we will have the all mighty manager duo of Lamperry!
seriously though, It has to be Chelsea. There is no other club in England he loves as much as he loves Chelsea. I think it is a question of how he and Roman will get along.
Think you've hit the nail on the head there. Mou would want complete control so it's really up to whether or not Roman would give it. He's the kind of person you hate when you're against them and love them when you've got them.

Re: Mourinho confirms he's going to Chelsea
Jose Mourinho does not rule out a move to Paris Saint-Germain in the future and admits that he is excited by the long-term plan at the Parc des Princes.
The Portuguese coach has a reputation for winning titles in different countries and the prospect of leading another European side to success is one that strongly appeals to him.
Speaking to BeIn Sport, Mourinho said: "Being a champion in another country is a motivation for me.
"This would be the fifth. I say why not?"
Mourinho is renowned for achieving a winning formula at the clubs he has coached as he has demonstrated at Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid.
But although the 49-year-old is a big fan of PSG's ambitious plans, he views a potential switch to the Parisian club as unlikely at the moment.
"The project [of PSG] is very big and organised, with Leonardo and Carlo Ancelotti who are doing a good job.
"I don't think they need another coach," he explained.

Re: Mourinho confirms he's going to Chelsea
Jose Mourinho insists his next move after leaving Real Madrid will be to return to the Premier League.
Mourinho's future at the Bernabeu has come under scrutiny as Real prepare to face Manchester United in the last 16 of the Champions League.
The Portuguese, 50, has been linked to United, Manchester City and Chelsea.
Asked when he expected to return to England, the former Chelsea boss said: "After Real. I love everything [about the Premier League].
He added: "Normally it will be my next step."
Mourinho has also been linked with Paris St-Germain - but made it clear he sees his immediate future back in England.
But asked if he would replace Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, Mourinho said: "I don't believe so. I think we have to end our career at the same time. [Ferguson] at 90 and me at 70."

Man United, City and Chelsea are probably the three likest? Which one would suit him the most?

Re: Mourinho confirms he's going to Chelsea
Jose Mourinho has again said he would be interested in the possibility of taking charge at a French club as speculation continues to link him with a summer switch to Paris Saint-Germain.
Mourinho, 50, is widely expected to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season. Although the former Chelsea boss has often said he would like to return to England, it now seems he could be tempted by life in Ligue 1.
"It's a possibility," the Portuguese told Canal+. "But I don't know when. I can't say when. But why not?"
Qatari-owned PSG are the only French outfit that could provide the squad and resources to match Mourinho's ambition.
In a radio interview with RMC last month, the coach also said he would be interested in taking charge of PSG, but added that he hoped that would not mean him replacing Carlo Ancelotti.
"I hope they'll have success with Carlo and [sporting director] Leonardo and they won't need another coach," he explained. "I'm happy Paris has this project. It's fantastic."
A swap between Ancelotti and Mourinho has been mooted more than once in the French media, with Madrid president Florentino Perez a known admirer of the Italian.
A recent article in Le Parisien claimed Perez had already contacted him about the Madrid job.
Ancelotti, 53, threw his future at the Parc des Princes into doubt earlier this month when he revealed his contract would only be extended beyond the end of the season if PSG finished in the top three in Ligue 1.
He told L'Equipe that he could leave the club if either he or the owners "were not satisfied".

If Madrid lose the tie against Man United could Mou be fired straight away and headed off to Chelsea replacing Rafa

Re: Mourinho confirms he's going to Chelsea
There wouldn't really be a point firing him straight away imo.
What would the new manager do? Also the CDR result might be a factor.

next week and after that might determine whether he stays or not.
but no point in firing him if he loses what else can Madrid do the league is off their hands.

He did win something in a team with a budget inferior to Arsenal, so maybe he'd pull it off, who knows.Muzza wrote:yeah right like mou's going to win anthing with arsenal's budget.
Anyway, voted for Chelsea. He's always said he loves England, and since he's said many times he loves Chelsea, I see him going there.

Re: Mourinho confirms he's going to Chelsea
Former Chelsea manager Ruud Gullit believes Jose Mourinho is destined for a return to Stamford Bridge this summer - regardless of how current boss Rafa Benitez fares until then.
Mourinho, who is currently at the helm at Real Madrid, enjoyed an enormously successful spell with the Blues from 2004-07, winning two Premier League titles, two League Cups and one FA Cup trophy.
And Gullit believes the Portuguese boss will make a comeback at the end of the current season, with Benitez’s brief being to qualify for the Champions League and “make way” for the 50-year-old.
"Rafa Benitez's main objective this season is to qualify for the Champions League and then to make way for Jose Mourinho," Gullit told Talksport.
"I have a feeling that he was meant to come back after the Champions League final but then when Chelsea won it I think he thought better of it. It’s no coincidence that right after the final he signed a new contract with Real Madrid."
Chelsea are currently third in the Premier League table, one point above fourth-placed Tottenham, and are in the last 16 of the Europa League courtesy of their 1-1 draw with Sparta Prague on Thursday.

Re: Mourinho confirms he's going to Chelsea
“I have an adventurous spirit and do not know what will happen next season,” declared The Special One at the opening of an exhibition in Setubal.
“It’s not easy to choose a new destination after working in England, Portugal, Italy and Spain. Maybe I could return to somewhere I’ve already been. Watch out for surprises.”
"If God keeps me healthy, then I am only halfway through my management career," added the 50-year-old.
Chelsea or Inter

Going back to Inter would probably be a bigger surprise seeing they are not financially well off plus his bad relationship with the Italian media etc.
Even Chelsea to an extent would be a surprise.I see PSG as an obvious choice seeing as they're heavily linked with him and the ambition of the board would go well with him as well.

Thing with Man Utd is they might want a long term manager. Someone like Moyes. Mourinho isn't a long term manager.

Re: Mourinho confirms he's going to Chelsea
Manchester City or Chelsea. Both teams are going to be coachless and they offer big cash for Mourinho to spend on big signings. I don't think he will carry on in Madrid regardless of him winning the Champions League this season or not.
Re: Mourinho confirms he's going to Chelsea
City are now managed by Soriano and Txiki, i really doubt those guys would call mourinho and propose him a job, specially when he will make sure to get rid of them in his first year . unless the sheik bypass them ofc, which will still result in them leaving city within a year lol
City are after Pellegrini
Mourinho hinting he might go to a new league is just a play i think, all point to Chelsea so far, maybe it will change. Too bad we are stuck with Carlito , but madrid will be free at last
