Yaya is easily one of the best CM's in the game - but he's always going to be a liability in terms of having to play in a defensive minded team. He's very lazy when it comes to defending, and is caught out of positions because of that. He's lack of defensive qualities is the main reason Barcelona sold him. They didn't need him to open teams up in the final third, as they already had Messi, Iniesta, etc...

Yaya had all the runs, 3 or so players tried to push him off the ball without getting the ball because he is so god damn stroong, but whenever he got past our midfield a shitty pass was the only thing that stopped him from putting in a nice through ball to anyone, although i must say his pass to Dzeko was very unselfish of him. best City player by far after Hart
