I see Arsenal as the modern Ajax. They spend within their means but are at a disadvantage when facing all these other high spenders. The only thing, in football terms that would make me happier if Arsenal win the English premier league, is if Ajax won the European cup.

None. Wed save money not having to spend a transfer fee to get him as well. Players don't die when they hit 30. Everyone is different and there is no reason to think that once someone hits that age their play will magically drop off

And what is the worst case scenario? We extend him and in a year or two his play does start to decrease? Then sell him. There is a real lack of RBs out there and someone will take a chance on him anyway. Selling Sagna makes zero sense and there is no reason to do it. We have no one to back him up and finding a replacement in the market is slim to none. Even if we went after Debouchy there is no guarentee we would even get him. Wed probably get outbid by some other team anyway.
