i dont much ab out the issue but i read somewhere that if adp did join pool he was in danger of losing the respect of juventinos and that might be one of the reasons he didnt join the kop?( reference to heysel)

When we faced Juve in CL 2005, Anfield had this whole get to gether and bonding ceremony, which was ignored by Juve fans as they turned their face away from the grounds and all showed mid-fingers to Kop.

I certainly wouldn't have lost respect for Alex. Yes what happened was terrible but ADP could have spent the very end of his career playing in the Premier league.

The fact that he supposedly turned down LFC because of that shows how much respect he has for fans of Juventus. He is a true gentleman.

Del Piero could sign for Inter, take a shit on a Juventus jersey while shaking hands with Moratti and staring into the eyes of Buffon and his reputation would be intact

Sounds legit that an agent who is most likely trying to get more money out of a deal with a new club is more reliable than an actual club statement...
