Roma striker Pablo Osvaldo has admitted that a possible transfer to Real Madrid could prove to be too tempting to turn down.

The Santiago Bernabeu side are reportedly keen to add some fresh blood to their attack in the summer transfer window, and recent reports from Spain claim that Osvaldo is one of Madrid's top targets.

"Real Madrid's interest? Every player dreams of wearing the jersey of a club like Madrid," Osvaldo was quoted as saying by Marca.

"However, I will have to do well with Roma first and win trophies here.

"We have to do our utmost to make sure we secure third place in the table and qualify for the Champions League."

Osvaldo previously played in La Liga at Espanyol from 2010 until 2011, before eventually joining Roma ahead of the 2011-12 campaign.

The 27-year-old has a contract with the Giallorossi until the summer of 2016.

we have been trying to sign him for two years lol. Looks like we are looking to grab too type of midfielders then, which is what we need, we are too weak and not diverse enough in our double pivot. That being said, Pardo doesnt yet have the physical presence needed for the highest level, despite his immense talent.

Isn't Pardo the guy who was called the new Alonso ? However, I really want one of Verratti or Gundogan to replace Xabi.

Verratti or Gundogan? Don't you think that's a bit unrealistic?

I mean, I don't see any real reason why they would leave as they have a strong foundation to build their careers.

Alongside Khedira in the pivot.

you do realize that verratti is garbage in defense and doesnt know how to play in a double pivot right? our midfield will get crushed defensively. not to mention Khedira is not a defensively specialist, not a DM.

Verratti recovered the most balls against Barca in both legs. He totally owned that game. And Khedira has the qualities to play DM. Verratti plays in a double pivot for PSG, alongside Matuidi.

lol, i watch PSG about every week and i can give you a couple of facts:
-Verratti sucks at playing defense, he has no physical presence in the midfield, cant run at all, make rash tackles all the time which earns him plenty of yellow cards.
-PSG play a disguised double pivot which is actually a 3 man midfield. If you play Verratti in a pure double pivot, it gets perforated, and i saw it quite enough in L1. C
-khedira is not a DM, please stop. CR has the qualities to play fullback yet he is not a fullback

so please stop talking things you have no clues of.

Young Verratti is much better in a three man midfield imo. He'd be perfect for that kind of formation.

There is talk that Leverkusen could take Jese and Denis in exchange for Caravajal. This may or may not happen but hopefully we can give them both with buy back clauses + some money in exchange for Caravajal.

We have a nice little relationship with Leverkusen atm, hope we can see it grow from here.

Their performances haven't been convincing and it's the correct time to sell them and get a good amount of money.

Callejon has reached his limit in terms of what he can offer. His position can be taken by a youth player.

Higuain, Kaka and Adan also apparently leaving.

Punto Pelota "revealed" (lol) the club's plans for this summer:

Adan, Albiol, Essien, Callejon and Carvalho will leave the club for sure.

The club is willing to listen to clubs if they get a good offer for Kaka, Di Maria, Higuain and Benzema.

Jese will be promoted to replace Callejon's role on the team.

Garay will replace Albiol.

Konogbia will replace Essien.

One of Verratti, Vidal or Gundogan will signed as the Xabi's successor.

If the club sells two out of Di Maria, Benzema and Higuain then Florentino is expected to sign Gareth Bale and Kun Aguero.
