But why bring in Bendtner when you have Matri, Quagliarella, Vucinic and Giovinco. All of them are better than Bendtner. The idea behind buying a new striker this sumer wasn't depth. It was to bring in a line-leading, 20 goals a year striker. Regardless of how you rate Bendtner, that doesn't describe him. Time to hope we see Quags or Matri step up their game this year, or Vucinic to go nuts.

Actually, Mancini may do just that... The part about Maicon on the halfway line, that is.

He probably wants to play Maicon as a wingback in the 3-4-1-2 that he has been playing around with. He's arguably a better wingback than anyone on City's team, and if not used week-in and week-out, he could put in some amazing performances.
