That goes without saying, although I don't necessarily believe Luiz is moving to DM even if we get Dede.

If you consider Bran a CB/RB hybrid, JT's problems are relatively unknown in terms of if he's ever going to get it back or anything.

This forum ONLY (I've yet to see other forums/blogs/fans) thinks Cahill is a starting level CB or something, for me he's 3/4th choice and no more than a squad player.

Dede is a monster and young, well he was a monster a few months ago. His form has dipped somewhat but I'm sure if we asked Ganso he would rave about this beast, we have somewhat a new policy of signing young high potential players. He would fit into that criteria, however getting him am not that sure.

Either way I'm not convinced we will have too many CB's should we sign one more and not let any go.

Thats the thing, Dede is not better than what we have from what I have heard. He could well improve, who knows.

For me. Azpilicueta should be starting next year, Bran should be starting in CB alongside JT with Cole at LB. on current form anyway. Cahill and Dede could be Back up CB's with DL4 moving to midfield.

Then we would need a RB.

If they can improve! get them in.. thats a good policy.

& what exactly have you heard about Dede (just curious) I read in a few reports that Brazilians rate him higher *apparently* than Thiago Silva.

Didn't you post recently that you thought Bran was our weakest CB

& we'd only need another RB if Cesar and Bran both got injured


Cahill only looks good with his last ditch tackles because his positioning is god damn awful, I don't hate him or dislike him I actually quite like him. Just don't think he's ever going to be more than just a squad player, I'd love more than anything to prove me wrong..... but like I said it's only this forum I hear people rating Gary so highly.

All have been really inconsistent/average for over a year now, and addition is needed IMO

Dede used to be a goat defender, now his form has dipped but mostly because his team is the worst from the top sides in Brazil.I think he would do well in the PL.But I dont think he should go to Chelsea, you guys are filled with CBs as it is

Personally, I'd rather just take KDB back but Schurrle can play LW/RW or perhaps CF. much like Moses. Would be a good depth signing if Schurrle himself is content with that.

TBH, I could see Schurrle playing CF. Although he is a lot like Sturridge.

A completely interchanging attack would be interesting, something like this:
