I thought he was brilliant against Newcastle. Totally bossed the midfield(along with Mikel).

Exactly. He'll be good to have in the squad.

I can't imagine them selling Essien AND him anyway, and of those two, even a moron could tell Essien is the least useful.

Dunno where I saw the rumour but it seems Fernabache(or some Turkish club) are in for Essien.

Another disastrous transfer decision by the board. They've already let Essien and Josh go, now they're letting Mayrelish leave as well. At a position we were light in even with all those players here, I can't see what the logic in this is. All we'll have is Lamps, Mikel, and Romeu (and possibly Ramires) now. It's not too bad I suppose, but I still would like to have kept him. He was a great depth player.

According to a few sources Valencia are after Romeu for around 6m.

If there is any truth to that I really hope we don't sell, he's worth alot more especially in this market and imo will be a WC DM in a few years. He's excellent for his age.
