Not really he was bossing the Bundesliga even at that age......
in 2010/11 anyway he was and anyone with a brain cell knew he was going to be world class one day.
Only injuries is his limit.

I really dont see him joining aby of the plastic English sides tbh(City,Chelsea etc).Arsenal cannot afford him , Man U with an outside chance but it looks highly unlikely though.BVB wont sell him to Bayern.
Imo either he continues to remain at BVB for a long time or i could see him ending up at Madrid some time in the near future.

moneh maybe, a new challenge? as awesome as it is right now in dortmund, they will always have do adequately replace someone. at some point the luck with the transfers will run out to a certain extend, comparable to what happened in bremen. but i guess it really depends on the interested club and the perspective they can give him. it's not like good CAMs are that high in demand. many big clubs seem relatively happy with their choices. mesut is in madrid, chelsea has oscar, kagawa and silva are in manchester. no idea where he should play for barca in the near future. so it seems like he'll be around for a bit longer.

2010-11 season was his breakthrough Mole.
Whilst Oezil had his breakthrough in 2008-09 season.Although he really came under the spotlight on account of his performances in the WC.(Thats when Madrid bought him)

There you have it. Id take mediocre Am instead of a injury prone one any day tbh.Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Ganso wrote:Gotze was kind of a nobody in 2010Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:I think Madrid bought the wrong German AM

it's pretty hart to judge how injuryprone he really is since his career has been so short thus far and he only had that one more or less major injury.

Yeah i just realised they bought Ozil before 2010/11 lol.
None the less he started showing the world what he can do in 2010 and any big club at that time should have known the talent he had.
I do hope he stays at Dortmund for the majority of his career though and be apart of a highly successful Dortmund team.
Out of all the teams that could buy him i don't really like any of them
As for Injuries thing i said that because he's had a couple and if it got more then it could stunt his growth and no one wants to see that.
Hopefully it was just a case of his body growing up and he can stay fit over his career.

Re: #19 - Mario Götze
If Dortmund continue winning things and put up a relevant show in the CL he can definitely be at BVB for the long haul.
Afterall Bundesliga is closing in on the PL to become the 2nd best league in the world as well

Useless footballer imo, never available when the team needs him

I'm merely comparing..Bundesliga is constantly rising up the co-efficients table afterall to become a top 2 league in the world and that could convince many of Bundesliga's(in general) prized assets to remain in Germany..Fair point no ?

He's a lot bigger than he was when i first saw him a couple of years ago.
Probably all part of growing up physically as a man and the injuries was probably a result of that.
Lot's of young players go through similar, hopefully now he's entering his 20s he can steer clear of all that.

Götze's breakthrough was in 2010 but everyone who follows youth football knew about Götze already.
