Player Sales
Well lets have a thread for discussing potential outgoing transfers.
There are a number of players who are deemed surplus and we should get good money of them which could possibly fund a move for a top striker signing.
.....................
Latest updates on player sales:
-Gianluca Di Marzio says Elia is close to Werder Bremen and that we could close the deal in the next few days for 7m euros.
-Krasic is been linked to a no.of Russian clubs but there are no official offers from any of them yet.
-Galatasaray want to redeem Felipe Melo but we still need to reach an agreement with them for a fee..Reports suggest the deal could be closed for a sum of 8-9m euros.
-Reto Ziegler was supposed to be redeemed by Fenerbahce for 3.5m euros according to some reports but there is no clarity on this yet..Everton is said to be interested as well..Ziegler himself said yesterday that he'll report to training in the Juve camp. We'll wait and see what happens but in the end Fenerbahce will mostly purchase him outright.
-No news on Iaquinta as of now,a few days ago i read a report saying Martinez has offers from Spain, elsewhere Motta is close to Bologna(most likely a loan once again).
.....................
I'll continue updating this thread when and once more news comes on some of these potential player sales.

i think you're right, cotes. i was more than hopeful that martinez would do well at a smaller club who used him differently than del neri... unfortunately i was wrong. anyone remember what his wages were? that could be an issue too
btw, nice idea for a thread, surag.

Re: Player Sales
It seems like Fenerbahce is not going to redeem Ziegler..They want another loan apparently.
He has been linked to Everton and Stuttgart now..Pretty sure we'll eventually sell him though.

Galatasaray agree €8m transfer fee for Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo
Galatasaray have agreed upon an €8m transfer fee for Juventus midfielder Felipe Melo according to Italian newspaper, La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The news coincides with Galatasaray board member Abdurrahim Albayrak hinting that the transfer of Felipe Melo from Juventus is nearing completion.
Albayrak told reporters at the Istanbul Atatürk Airport, "Were not rushing anything, God willing more players will join us in Austria for our pre-season training.
"There is no problem regarding the transfer of Felipe Melo."
Galatasaray Vice-President Ali Dürüst, club official Cenk Argün and Head of Foreign Relations Şükrü Hanedan have travelled to Torino, Italy to try and finalize a deal.
Melo has repeatedly stated he would like to make his loan deal permanent, in a recent interview he said, "There have been some rumors in the newspapers. The fact of the matter is, I am staying at Galatasaray.
"My aim is to be successful at Galatasaray and help us win cups and competitions." he said.
The signing of midfielder's Kwadwo Asamoah, Paul Pogba and Maurucio Isla are a clear indication that Melo will not feature in Juventus's plans next season.
The 29-year-old defensive midfielder had an outstanding debut season with the Lions scoring 12 goals in 36 games and helped the Lions go on to win their 18th league title.

Re: Player Sales
Milos Krasic is only interested in moving to England, Germany or Spain, according to his agent, and will not step down a level in order to leave Juventus.
The Serbia international finds himself out of favour in Turin and in need of a summer switch in order to kick-start his career.
He is reported to have attracted plenty of interest, with clubs from Russia and Turkey leading the chase.
Krasic is reluctant to discuss such a move, though, as he has already shown that he is capable of competing in Europe's top leagues.
As a result, he is prepared to risk writing off another season in the shadows at Juventus in order to get the transfer he wants.

i hope this does not turn into another amauri-like situation.
on another note, I, unfortunately, have not seen any news on borriello or padion. has everyone here resigned themselves to the possibility that both will play for juventus next season?

Borriello's loan deal expired..he has returned to Roma.
Though we're stuck with Padoin ,but Parma are rumored to be interested in him.

I think Borriello is gone and Padoin hopefully will be sold. Nothing against him but we're back competing on all fronts and he's not the man I would be bringing on, even in a cup match.

I hope we can get Immobile back to Juve and use him as depth for CL or Coppa matches. He could fufil that role over Borriello.

Good...........I hope we can raise 20 Mil from sales to spend on a WC striker.
Re: Player Sales
I would love to Have Ciro Immobile back but I think being at Genoa right now is better. He can have a good number of games that way to keep improving and if he doesn't perform in the odd match it doesn't affect Juventus and all is well.

Re: Player Sales
According to Tuttosport Mallorca are in pole position for Martinez.Juve are willing to yield him on loan with a right to redemption..
LINK
So we might not get any money of him for this year's budget then.

He'll go there, get injured and we'll be stuck with him again. I say cut the losses and sell him for very cheap.

Who would want to buy him?
The guy couldn't cut it at Cesena, I doubt he will make it elsewhere either
Anyways, on the topic of player sales- which names do you want to see go?
Striker seems like the sexiest position to discuss
Quagliarella
Matri
Boriello* no word on his redemption
'New signing'
Lets assume that Juventus will sign a striker (without naming one)
What is then more likely?
Boriello redeemed at a discount and then one of Quagliarella/Matri moved
Or
Boriello not redeemed and Quagliarella/Matri fill out the rotation
Or
Boriello not redeemed and still one or both of Quagliarella/Matri moved and an additional striker is signed?

Re: Player Sales
Why are people still talking about Borriello
His loan option expired long back..We cant exercise the option to buy him permanently now.
If anything we have to present Roma with a new offer which isnt going to happen..Forget about him,he is not a Juventus player anymore.
Well if we are so desperate to raise cash for making that top striker signing then we need to get rid of one of Quag/Matri.simple as.

Music to my ears!
and as Tomjuve said, i have nothing against Padoin. it just seems that we have upgraded and that he is not needed anymore

Re: Player Sales
If we are not going to use Ziegler, then any money is good money for him and it's even better if we send him outside of Italy. The last thing I want to see is him causing trouble for Juve in a match.
As Melo, 10m is fair and I'll take that offer. Hopefully, it goes through. I don't really see that adding money to our budget, but it will help cover the original costs of Melo.
