Yes play 4-3-3 with the outstanding technical and tactical talent at Hodgson's disposal
Barry was'nt even at the tournament

hey hey england has a choice
greece does not, we wouldnt park the bus if we actually had decent players apart from defence
england has so many world class attackers, promising youngsters
and still "park the bus"

I thought it was already established. There's no need to put down a team that hasn't won a game against a major side in knock-outs in 58 years. (Apart from at home)
This is one of the few times England played to their strengths and that's why they did decently.

No we dont we have Rooney.... thats it.
please point to these promising youngsters that are actually ready for a tournament of this magnitude or were actually fit?
Also we parked the bus because the defence is our strength and the midfield has no creativity at all.... having quality attackers means nothing if you cant create chances which we cant.

rodwell mceachran could very well hold the midfield
while starting oxlade and walcott on the wings would contribute more offensively
walker who didnt even get the call
why just dont risk it even with unexperienced youngsters
since england's defence is more than capable of dealing with threats
dont need everyone to contribute defensively

England didn't have technical players. The 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 didn't really work out either. Hopefully Wilshere and Cleverley come into the squad when they're fully fit.

Rodwell is always injured, Mceachran cant even break into Swansea's team and doesnt even 5 starts to his name.
Walker is injured...... Oxlade is'nt ready to start games, theres a reason Wenger is holding him back.
I agree on Walcott though.

Walker was injured. In any case, he's not better offensively than Johnson. In fact, I would say that Johnson is much better going forward than Walker is.
Rodwell was also injured a lot last season. Nobody knows his best position and he hasn't progressed since bursting onto the scene.
McEachran didn't play at all last season.
Walcott maybe should've started more, but Chamberlain isn't ready, contrary to the hype he's been getting since about last Christmas.
It's all well and good giving young players chances, but they at least have to prove they can maintain a high level of performance first.

Will AOC get enough game time next season? There's RVP, Giroud, Walcott, Gervinho and Podolski already there. Unless he plays AM/CM.

If Walker was with England...*shudder*
They would have destroyed the Euros no contest.

England are crap. They played with the tactics that gave them the best chance to win (err draw) with their talent level.

He'll be backup for Walcott, mainly. With inevitable injuries and suspensions, he'll definitely get games.

Would a loan to another EPL club not be better? I think AOC is one of those young players that should be starting regularly.
