Malaga readying bid for Fabio Quagliarella
The Juventus striker has impressed Manuel Pellegrini and the Malaga manager is planning to sign him in this summer transfer window, in order to add him to the club’s attacking ranks.
Malaga are currently looking for strikers in the transfer market, especially after their first-choice goal scorer, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, decided to retire from football.
The Spanish side were not as strong as they are now, and after they were taken over by the new owners, Manuel Pellegrini helped them touch new heights, and the Spaniards were able to finish fourth in the Spanish La Liga.
With Malaga finishing fourth in the league, it means that they will be playing the qualifying stages of the UEFA Champions League, and in order to qualify for the European tournament, they definitely need to recruit new players so they can challenge elite European teams.
Manuel Pellegrini is definitely going to find it hard to recruit good players in the transfer market, as most of them now want to join clubs such as Manchester City, Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea, etc. However, Pellegrini has to add a new striker to his ranks, especially after his first-choice goal scorer, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, decided to retire from football.
With the Dutch striker gone, Pellegrini is only left with a single striker, Salomon Rondon. With Rondon under Premier League radar, Pellegrini definitely has to add at least two strikers to his ranks and that is the reason why he is looking for foreign players.
According to reports in Italy and Spain, it is being reported that Malaga are currently trying to recruit the Juventus player, Fabio Quagliarella.
The 29-year-old is currently in the transfer market as Juventus will be recruiting more players in order to add to their project ‘build-up’.
Since Sebastian Giovinco will be returning to Juventus in the coming season, and Bianconeri also interested in signing for the Italian champions, it means that Quagliarella will definitely try to look for greener pastures.
The experienced striker will definitely add a lot to the Malaga first-team. Even though he is not the best goal scorer in the transfer market, his experience will add a lot to the Spanish club, especially since they will be playing in Europe next season.
Fabio Quagliarella has scored 4 goals in 23 Serie A appearances last season.

Re: Malaga readying bid for Fabio Quagliarella
Well i guess we're gonna sell one of Matri or Quags..
Personally i would keep Quag cuz he is a versatile forward but if a very good offer came in ,i did read on TMW that Malaga are ready to offer 13m euros which is a great offer for someone who'll turn 30 next year ,and if it means that this money would be used to get a better proven goalscorer,i wouldnt hesitate in selling him.
