Well a few websites say Benzema has a potential of 87, his current rating, meaning he won't go up. However he's just gone up to 88 in my Liverpool career mode.

Immediately I started the career mode I brought in Falcao for £25M plus Torres.

Falcao up to 89 in my Career mode now. Also brought in Hummels banana

What sucked about FIFA 12's career mode and especially if you played on harder settings was how easily you'd get fired. Like, get promoted from League Two to the Championship in 2-3 seasons only to get fired in there.

Yeah after a few seasons on a rubbish budget I got Ipswitch up to the Prem and after a few seasons of mid-table I got a top 4 spot. Next season the board give me unrealistic targets and I got sacked in my first performance review meeting. I had a horrible CL group with a 3.5 star team with poor depth and put against some of the best teams in the PL. I sat 3rd in my group with 1 or 2 games left and upper mid-table in the league and the idiots sacked me.

Anyways, two negatives about the game so far for me are 80% of my head to head games are played in the rain, and the ref's are a little too card happy handing out yellows for some very soft tackles..

Btw LeDNA, my game has frozen a few times too.. Not the first FIFA game to experience this with though

Seriously every time they get possession in their half it is IMMEDIATELY sent long to their strikers at the halfway line

Not a problem I've run into at all, to be honest. Even teams I would expect to hoof don't do it a great deal unless they go all-out attack. Must just be a Serie A issue... hmm

Electronic Arts has been caught red-handed selling a barely updated re-release as a full sequel. While it's often hard to tell the difference with sports games, it's really bad this time, since the Wii version of FIFA 13 really is just FIFA 12.

The only difference comes in the form of the number (obviously) and a few transfer/kit updates. Everything else is identical. Most sports games at least try to add new features, enhanced visuals, or something to justify the sequel. FIFA 13 doesn't bother, tricking customers into spending $40 on what could have been a free downloadable update.

FIFA Football on PS Vita is the same thing, just FIFA 12 repackaged. It's also drawing further heat off the back of EA's Wii shenanigans.

Wow. Just ... wow. Not even I have the words for this one.

I spent a good hour and half just on the skill challenges. The chip shot one was actually quite tough. My favorite is easily the lobbed pass one though. Totti is goat at that.

After that, I started a player career mode with the Chicago Fire. I'll start my Manager Mode career with Roma in the morning.

As for the game play...first touch control is quite good, but if your player doesn't have good ball control attributes, they have cinderblocks for boots Laughing

....passing and shooting are both solid, but I overhit so many of my corners, it was ridiculous. Playing on Pro now and have found it marginally easy so I will eventually kick myself up to World Class soon.
