Barca is always ridiculously overrated in FIFA. Even Messi is overrated. I remember playing FIFA 12 and scoring 35 yard rips with him on a consistent basis. Messi is not the type to hit em from.range, but he's just as good as pretty much anyone at it in FIFA.

midway in game or in the late minutes it lags for 1-2 seconds and then the game crashes
if i even HAVE problems in the demo i imagine what will happen in the full version, definitely EA has not fixed the connection problems, cause they suck

All players move forward better, but depends on the players workrate. Generally yes.

Could it be your computer? I haven't had any issues so far at all, no lagging and no crashes.

It's just in previous FIFA games, the fullbacks would only overlap if their sides winger cut in. However I want my RB/LB to overlap when I'm on the other side of the pitch.

Kinda like how Spain and Barca's fullbacks overlap.

I have a similar problem mine doesnt really lag but i played my first game then my 2nd game it crashed when i was taking a corner then on to the next matches every single time i have a set piece it just closes on me. My laptops pretty new dont know what the problem is though

apparently its the button custimzation that causes the problem, if you use custom buttons it will crash
i played with the manual buttons and it didnt crash, though i lost all 3 games i played lol, the buttons are messed up cant perform on the pitch

Positive about that would be realism, but I think the negatives outweight it:

- lots and lots of "ordinary" players of which it's difficult to know what skills they actually do in real life. How do you define what skills a random League One player has if you have to give them one by one?
- If you don't give, say, Di Maria a certain skill that's now included in 4-star rating, but then he does that skill in a real life game this season. Him not having it in FIFA would then feel rather dumb.

In FIFA 11 or 10 Aiden Mcgeady had 4 star skills but the Mcgeady spin was a 5* move

On a less funny but still funny note; Damiao who has done a fair few rainbow flicks in his time has 2* skills on FIFA 12.

I'm sure they have researchers for every league/team. Those people can say what players do which skills over the past season.

Di Maria could have 3* skills for example now and perform a 5* one later this season. So with the current * system, that problem can also occur. For this I think they can keep updating the players through those live season things/any other kind of update.

Maybe they can keep both systems, however assign skills for the higher rated players instead of the * system.

It's essentially upgraded versions of the default players based on how they do in their respective leagues. For example, Pirlo is rated at 87, by default. In a game against AC Milan, he bosses the midfield and controls everything, undoubtedly being the start performer. Because of this specific attributes (ones that are relevant to his progress) are upgraded and his rating can go up. The ratings can also be lowered. As far as I'm aware, this feature is only accessible on Kick Off, but I imagine it will be used online, too (hopefully not).
