EA Sports has extended its partnership with Newcastle United until 2014.

The extension on the deal means that Magpies fans can download an exclusive cover for FIFA 13 when the game goes on sale in September.

Got confused with the global cover. In terms of the UK cover, Messi's on it and Rooney will probably be with him.

FIFA13 is shaping up really well, it seems. I especially like the sound of the improvements being made in Career Mode (Player):

- Once you’ve chosen your player (VP or real) you receive a set of Season Objectives to complete from the manager. The type of player you choose (forward, midfielder, defender, etc) will shape these objectives.

- As well as Season Objectives you’ll also be asked to achieve objectives every four matches. This could include, goals, clean sheets, pass/tackle completion percentages, etc. The quality of opposition over these four games will decide the values you are asked to achieve.

- If you are unhappy you now have the option to request a transfer, or request a loan to gain more match experience.

- If you choose to play for a top club with a low rated VP you will not be a first team starter to begin with, you’ll be loaned to gain experience first.

- If fatigued or playing poorly the manager can now substitute your player.

- Once your playing days are over can can opt to retire and take up management.

All that sounds really fantastic and will add a lot of realism to a mode that I enjoy playing the most.

On top of the that, the improvements being made to the transfer system are much needed, and I'm really pleased they're doing so. I was getting fed up of David Silva joining Arsenal, Wesley Sneijder joining Man City, Szczesny joning Bolton, etc. every single time I start a new career.

Also, this sounds cool but somehow annoying:

- Whilst playing your Career Mode matches you’ll now receive audio updates from other games being played in your league voiced by Alan Mcinally and Geoff Shreeves.

- The live updates cover goal, red card and penalty incidents.

- Example – Shreeves: “Goal at Anfield, Fulham’s Clint Dempsey scores a brilliant freekick to make it 2-1, 73 minutes played” Tyler “Thanks Geoff”

- You can select/de-select the matches you want to hear audio updates from prior to playing starting your match.

You don't know what your on about. Cris is a great man, which is the quality I admire most about him

Shame he's exploited for all his flaws but whenever he does something heart touching like he's done in the past he receives absolutely no respect

The popular football management simulation will feature three special editions for fans of three of the biggest clubs in Spain, including Real Madrid. Thus, the Madrid fans (like the Catalans and the Valencian, the other two editions) will have the opportunity to acquire an exclusive edition that will be available in stores, by reservation only.

FIFA Real Madrid fans are in luck. If you went disappointed at having to see Messi on the cover of the game will still have a chance to avoid becoming one of the limited units that Electronic Arts will release by reservation for Play Station 3 and Xbox 360. The edition of Real Madrid may be reserved for an additional charge of five dollars, and like the rest will be available the next day on September 27 , the date that the most buffs are already marked on the calendar.
Each of these issues include, in addition to the game, a commemorative metal box and incentives worth more than EUR 30 : Adidas All Star team, 10,000 virtual coins to unlock store items and 24 EA Sports for FIFA on gold 13 Ultimate Team.

But I think ronny should get more credit for his character. As a teenager, one time a teammate of his had to leave because he didn't have a bed. Ronaldo said "no, he won't leave. He can sleep in my bed, I'll sleep on the floor" thats incredible imo and that's just one instance

What settings do you play on?
The passing seems solid on auto and even on manual they are still very responsive.

Sometimes I do encounter however it will pass it to the player I least wanted to. Which can be crucial at times in regarding through ball

What was wrong with the passing on FIFA 12, exactly? I'm genuinely curious, because I played on full manual all the time and didn't notice anything wrong with the default settings.
