he's alright playing cm i guess. hasn't impressed really in this 1st half against iceland, but it doesn't help that he's playing alongside gourcuff

Re: Is Cabaye the French Piggy?
I do prefer in a more attacking role where he can create for the forwards but he's fantastic in his defensive role too.....
He's a major reason why we have so many clean sheets this season the cover he gives to the defense and Tiote is brilliant.
Lenear he's playing as a DM lol with Gourcuff and Nasri as AM's lol.... of course he's not going to impact the game in the attacking third.

Re: Is Cabaye the French Piggy?
Lille not Lyon.
He was very good at Lille. Main reason Hazard had to play more of a AM role was that Cabaye and Amalfitano both left Lille. Nobody to replace them either.
Should not play Cabaye as DM however. Nothing to do with ability. He's just not quite strong enough. Great CM. Very encouraging for France NT.

He could pull off a double pivot style DM i feel just not a lone DM atleast not when Nasri and Gourcuff are in front of him
None the less i agree he should be a CM alongside M'Vila.
I am praying Evra gets dropped though lol.
While we are on the france NT tangent..... Benzema and Ben Arfa's link up

Yeah.... that attack for the 2007 U17 France NT that won the Euro was... Nasri, Menez, Ben Arfa and Benzema. They know each other very well.

Re: Is Cabaye the French Piggy?
I find him too light.
Not strong enough to replace a DM and not technical enough to provide the bonus in attack. Complete but not outstanding.

Yeah, I love the guy.
Is damn sexy, too.
If France had another of his type he could even bench shitty Gourcuff.

Is he playing today? Mole, I want your answer. I come back to home and it's too late to change my FL team and I see Cabaye and Coloccini are doubtful. Will they play?

Re: Is Cabaye the French Piggy?
I can say for certain but considering he has trained all week i would guess so...
Personally think it's mind games only Ben Arfa is unlikely to play really.
Not sure why they think Coloccini is a doubt he's 100% fit.
