@Boss:
I corrected the birthplace and added the nationality part. But where did you get the squad number from? I haven't found it at fcbayern.de or transfermarkt.de yet.

Re: Former Player: Xherdan Shaqiri
I hope he is not another Pranjic or Usami. There is no reason for him to be because he looks better but its still the Swiss League. I would look forward to how he does with Bayern.
He has two of the best wingers in the last 10 years to learn from. The level of football will be very high. We wont cheer for 1 Sweet goal in 4 games. Any miss of his will be rubbished like Robben & Ribery are criticized.
Especially against a club like Dortmund or Real any mistake will give a huge blow to his career. I hope he is humble, willing to learn & mentally strong ever.
I really hope he is good enough to come back in 20-30 minutes he will probably get in the begining & put on a good performance. Hopefully he can play CAM too along with LW & RW.
We play 2 games a week almost half the seson. IF he can help us win the BL matches in the week where we have UCL/CUP matches I would be over-joyed. We are very VERY dependent on our Wingers. Hopefully Shaqiri can ease the burden a bit.
Looking forward to seeing great things from him.

Re: Former Player: Xherdan Shaqiri
How about we do thesame for Boateng, and Gomez
Nationality: German/Spain/Ghana (plays for Germany)
Alaba: Nigeria, Austria Philippine (plays for Austria
doesn't make sense to me

Re: Former Player: Xherdan Shaqiri
Actually I wanted to list the nationality and NT for all the players. I'll prolly do that a bit later. Right now I'm watching the friendly Switzerland - Romania with Yann Sommer in goal (first senior cap of his) - that takes precedence

How highly do you rate Xherdan Shaqiri?
I think he's a very promising kid whose only gonna get better and better, especially as an understudy to Robben and Ribery.

Re: Former Player: Xherdan Shaqiri
From what I've seen of him, I find him to be an explosive players capable of doing brilliant things, but also someone who can be quite greedy and often makes the wrong decision, particular when it comes to shooting from distance. I haven't seen him play for Munich yet, but as it stands, I don't really think he's the super talent he's being billed to be.

Has potential to be as good as Ribery, but nothing more. Hazard, Gotze, Neymar are on a whole other level. Maybe Lucas and Eriksen as well.

Never seen him play but heard a bit about him, can somebody fill me in/maybe some match highlights(not skill reels, actual match highlights, not just the good stuff).

Re: Former Player: Xherdan Shaqiri
He's single handedly the best winger of his age, he's strong fast and has deadly shoot, he has mostly come in as a sub but has already scored 1 goal and 3 assist in 4 matches(mostly as substitute)
I don't rate him on Ribery, Robben or even Muller's level but some Bayern fans seems to think he should be in the starting line-up ahead of Robben and Muller so I guess he's that good.
I watched Basel match against United and he single handedly destroyed them, he also gave England hard time, I guess it save to say him and Muller will dominate Europe in few years time, when Ribery and Robben are no longer capable;

Re: Former Player: Xherdan Shaqiri
Forgot to mention that the he scored an amazing free-kick, I rate his future potentials higher than Di Maria.
Re: Former Player: Xherdan Shaqiri
In 5 years time when Ribery is 34, Dante/Lahm/Schweini/Robben are 33(although they could still be bench players) I expect to see us line-up like this.
---------------Neuer----------------
Contento-Boateng--Badstuber---Alaba
----------Gustavo--Martinez-----------
Muller-----------Kroos----------Shaqiri
----------------Gomez----------------
------------------------Raeder------------------------
Rafinha-------Martinez-----------Dante------------Lahm
------------Can/Gustavo---------Kroos/Alaba-----------
Weiser/Derflinger---------------------Marco Fabián/Jenning
---------------Petersen/Peters---Mandzukic-------------
---------------Neuer----------------

----------Gustavo--Martinez-----------
Muller-----------Kroos----------Shaqiri

Rafinha-------Martinez-----------Dante------------Lahm

Re: Former Player: Xherdan Shaqiri
Messiah's post is like someone from a fantasy world.
Who thought Martinez will play for Bayern 5 years back?? Had people even head or him or Muller for that matter???
Anyways Rafinha is rubbish & needs to go

I think it will be more fantasy world if I include imaginary players there.
Included our players that will still be capable in 5years time, but that's not to say I don't know that we'll sign new players in the future but you don't expect me to slut them in the line-up like some imaginary fantasy world, when I don't even know who they will be.
