What's best for Higuain? He should go to a team where he is the undoubted CF, a place like Juventus. There's no chance that Matri or Borriello (lol) will get chances ahead of Higuain.

He was a sure starter for Mou and one of Mous favorite player until he got injured and Benzema decided to grow a pair. Benzema is simply better now. With Ronaldos goal scoring exploits, we don't need the best goal scorer up front but the best all around player. And that's Benzema even if Higuain is more lethal.

Basically, Higuain makes moves to get himself into goal scoring positions. While Benzema does that but not as focused as Higuain, but Benzema rather makes moves to open up space for others. Something that Higuain doesn't do as consciously.

But for any team who needs a striker who take the goal scoring responsibility for his team. Higuain is the man to get.

As a Higuain and Real Madrid fan, I actually hope that he moves to Juve. He's too good to be used sparely and he's wasting his career while not becoming the star he should be if he continues to be rotation fodder at Madrid.

He got the potential to be Crespos and Batistutas level Argentinian striker legend. He still got 6-8 years on the top bar injuries.

He should not waste another year at Madrid even if it would be great for Madrid. He should go to a team like Juve. Or another top Serie A team like Inter or Roma.
