I remember we were linked with Capoue a couple of years ago, when we were being linked with every defensive midfielder you could think of (Miguel Veloso and Gokhan Inler being two that we were linked with almost daily).

Probably not a good idea! Jack got serious surgery and we are talking about slowly integrate him back to the team. Frimpong got two of those and plays in most physical demanding position.

M'villa did not impress me this Euro, not that any of French team did. That performance did not justify 18 mil price tag, plus his lackluster season & poor attitude. Capoue might be safer option, or another year of Song + Coquelin.

He did get a chance, in 09/10 season i think, when van persie got injured and eduardo was out of form, he got some chances in the premier league and didnt take them
