For the home side, Alessandro Matri returns in place of Alessandro Del Piero after sitting out the midweek Coppa Italia clash with AC Milan.

In a boost for the Bianconeri, Andrea Barzagli is fit again after his recent calf trouble and he slots back into the centre of the defence at the expense of Leonardo Bonucci, while Martin Caceres fills in for the suspended Stephan Lichtsteiner at right-back.

There are two other changes to the side which started against the Rossoneri, with Gianluigi Buffon taking over from Marco Storari in goal and Claudio Marchisio replacing Emanuele Giaccherini in midfield.

Diego Forlan will start for Inter in Sunday night’s Serie A showdown with Juventus in Turin.

The Uruguay international allegedly refused to come on as a substitute during the second half of last weekend’s 0-0 draw with Atalanta but coach Claudio Ranieri has paired the veteran forward with Diego Milito in the Nerazzurri attack, with Giampaolo Pazzini the man to make way.

Elsewhere, Dejan Stankovic has also been recalled and the Serb’s inclusion results in Esteban Cambiasso dropping to the bench. Wesley Sneijder again misses out with a groin problem, meaning Inter will line out in a conventional 4-4-2, with Stankovic joining Javier Zanetti, Andrea Poli and Obi in midfield.
